Abstract: A wearable technology, referred to herein as biometric bodysuit, which integrates biometric sensors, electromagnetic stimulation, and wireless control modules having the capacity to communicate with an interactive user interface. The body is comprised of at least one segment covering at least a portion of a body of a wearer. The segments include an arm covering, a leg covering, a torso covering, footwear, handwear, headwear, and any combination thereof. The segments include a series of control modules that relay real-time biometric data to a main control module, wherein the data is then relayed to a server and a user interface. The user interface permits wearers of the bodysuit and healthcare professionals to adjust the functionality of the bodysuit in accordance to what is the necessary therapy required by the wearer.

Abstract: A temperature-controlled massage node that imparts either or both a heating or cooling effects is provided, which may be attached to a massager to impart a heating or cooling effect on a user with a massage effect, or optionally, without a massage effect. The temperature-controlled massage node may be affixed to the massager or may be removably coupled. The temperature-controlled massage node may be powered by the same power source as the massager or may include an independent power source located, for example, in the massage node. The massage node may be used with a massager that provides percussive massage effects, such as a massage gun, or may be used with a vibrating massager. Optionally, the massage node may include independent power, a controller and a motor to supply both a vibrating massage effect and hot and cold effect, either alone or in combination.

Abstract: A chair is disclosed for providing water and air adjustable massage. The massage chair includes a surface that is easy to clean, and water-filled rollers within the chair to apply a massaging effect to the body of the user thereon. Each water-filled roller incorporates a foam inner roller that is surrounded by either a cylindrical water-filled wrap or water-filled inserts. The massage chair incorporates a leg section to perform a percussive and vibrating massage on the legs of the user thereon. The compression garment functions as a compression device (e.g., to improve circulation, enhance muscle recovery, etc.), and can additionally or alternatively function as a passive compression device, a heating and/or cooling device, or perform any other suitable functionality.

Abstract: A negative pressure massage device which includes a massage stick, an external negative pressure device and a communication pipe. The massage stick includes a stick body, an air channel in the stick body, a negative pressure connection hole and an air suction opening formed at both ends of the stick body and communicated with the air channel. The external negative pressure device is installed separately from the massage stick and includes a housing and a negative pressure drive/control module. The ends of the communication pipe are communicated with the negative pressure connection hole and the negative pressure communication hole. This disclosure provides various negative pressure massage effects and improves the ease of operation.

Abstract: A method for enhancing speech control in a subject includes applying a first vibrotactile stimulation and applying a second vibrotactile stimulation to a thyroid area of the subject. The first vibrotactile stimulation has a first vibrating property and the second vibrotactile stimulation has a second vibrating property different than the first vibrating property. Example vibrating properties include vibrating frequency, vibrating frequency range, wave shape, continuousness, frequency phase, and direction of mechanical force. A collar may be configured to position the first vibrational transducer and the second vibrational transducer over a neck of a subject.

Abstract: A wound or incision closure apparatus comprises a first and second panel. Each of the panels comprises a bottom adhesive layer, a medial substrate layer, and an upper load distribution layer which connect the two panels. A sensory or therapeutic element is disposed adjacent, within, or between two or more of the layers. The sensory or therapeutic element can provide sensing and/or therapy for the incision and/or monitor the incision so that the therapy can be customized and updated.
