Abstract: Various embodiments of systems, devices, components, and methods for providing external therapeutic vibration stimulation to a patient are disclosed and described. Therapeutic vibration stimulation is provided to at least one location on or adjacent to a patient's skin (such as through clothing or a layer disposed next to the patient's skin), and is configured to trigger or induce resonance or high amplitude oscillations in a cardiovascular system of the patient. Inducing such resonance can aid in training autonomic reflexes and improve their functioning.

Abstract: Apparatus and methods relate to a pneumatic compression therapy device configured to suggest content to the patient based on a determined disease state, the content pertaining to suggested changes in lifestyle based on a standard of care. In an illustrative embodiment, the suggested changes may include modifications to treatment location, treatment time, diet, eating habits, or sleeping schedule. Various examples may further sample the patient's health and automatically adjust a treatment parameter within a predetermined parameter range based on a history of measured parameters, such as limb volume, for example. In coordination with the therapeutic treatment, the therapy device may deliver suggested content to guide the patient to make more healthful lifestyle choices to reduce recovery time and improve patient health outcomes.

Abstract: A self-contained reciprocation mechanism is coupleable within an enclosure of a percussive massage device and is configured to receive an applicator head for stimulating a user's muscles. The self-contained reciprocation mechanism includes a spatial positioning bracket, a semi-cylindrical bracket, a piston, a motor, a crank, and a reciprocation linkage. The spatial positioning bracket is configured to receive the other interconnected components of the self-contained reciprocation mechanism and position said components relative to each other at close predetermined tolerances to assure that the interconnected components are properly positioned to provide consistent operating characteristics. The self-contained reciprocation mechanism is coupled within the enclosure using screws which extend through mounting tabs of the spatial positioning bracket.

Abstract: A method of controlling an exoskeleton mobility device includes executing a control application with an electronic controller to perform: sensing at least one of an angular position or angular velocity of a stance/trailing leg during a single support dynamic state of a gait cycle; determining whether the angular position satisfies an advanced gait threshold; and when it is determined that the angular position satisfies the advanced gait threshold, the control system employs advanced gait control in which a duration of double support states between single support dynamic states is minimized. For advanced gait control the control system controls such that hip joint component velocities are non-zero during transitions from swing states to stance states, and knee joint component velocities are non-zero during transitions from stance states to swing states of the gait cycle. Each step of the gait cycle thus blends into a next step by way of hip joint component swing-to-stance extension, and/or knee joint component stance-to-swing flexion.

Abstract: A skin cleanser includes a surface, such as a silicone surface, with at least one textured portion for transmitting vibrational tapping to the skin. The skin cleanser includes at least one oscillating motor for generating the tapping motion to the skin. The textured portion includes touch-points or a wave that transmit the tapping motion to skin in contact with the textured portions. The touch-points may include thicker and thinner formations of the touch-points to provide firmer or softer vibrations to the skin. The touch-points are within about 0.5 to 2.5 mm in diameter. One configuration includes multiple oscillating motors configured to provide different vibration frequencies at around 50-300 Hertz and operable simultaneously.
