摘要: The invention provides devices for blood collection that integrate a plurality of microneedles for an easy-to-use, pain-free blood collection experience. The invention provides both plasma and whole blood collection and separation in a single device. The invention provides for the collection, storage, and maintenance of blood specimens for stable transport to diagnostic laboratories, in varying ambient temperatures and time durations. Specifically, the invention provides a blood collection device that allows a user to collect an accurately metered quantity of blood.

摘要: A microsensor and method of manufacture for a microsensor, comprising an array of filaments, wherein each filament of the array of filaments comprises a substrate and a conductive layer coupled to the substrate and configured to facilitate analyte detection. Each filament of the array of filaments can further comprise an insulating layer configured to isolate regions defined by the conductive layer for analyte detection, a sensing layer coupled to the conductive layer, configured to enable transduction, and a selective coating coupled to the sensing layer, configured to facilitate detection of specific target analytes/ions. The microsensor facilitates detection of at least one analyte present in a body fluid of a user interfacing with the microsensor.

摘要: A method of analyzing a blood sample from an animal is disclosed. The method includes: (a) extracting a blood sample from a blood collection device, wherein the blood collection device comprises: (i) a microneedle array and (ii) a blood storage layer, and wherein the microneedle array transports the blood sample from the animal to the blood storage layer, and wherein the microneedle array comprises one or more microneedles; (b) conducting at least one test on the extracted blood sample; and (c) reporting results from the at least one test to a customer.

摘要: Transdermal microneedles continuous monitoring system is provided. The continuous system monitoring includes a substrate, a microneedle unit, a signal processing unit and a power supply unit. The microneedle unit at least comprises a first microneedle set used as a working electrode and a second microneedle set used as a reference electrode, the first and second microneedle sets arranging on the substrate. Each microneedle set comprises at least a microneedle. The first microneedle set comprises at least a sheet having a through hole on which a barbule forms at the edge. One of the sheets provides the through hole from which the barbules at the edge of the other sheets go through, and the barbules are disposed separately.
