摘要: An example computer-implemented method of increasing veterinary health care compliance includes receiving information indicating that an animal patient concluded a visit at a veterinary practice, in response accessing diagnostic test results for the animal patient, based on the diagnostic test results creating a pet owner profile for an owner of the animal patient, matching the pet owner profile with a stored message and stored information relating to a product associated with recommended treatment for the animal patient, sending an electronic message to a second computing device associated with the owner of the animal patient that includes the stored message and the stored information relating to the product associated with recommended treatment for the animal patient, receiving a report indicating whether the owner of the animal patient obtained the product associated with recommended treatment for the animal patient, and updating the pet owner profile to be indicative of the report.

摘要: An example computer-implemented method for identifying biological samples from non-human subjects for testing includes receiving medical information of a non-human subject, receiving test results including a detected characteristic of a component indicative of a condition for a biological sample from the non-human subject, extracting one or more keywords from the medical information by executing a machine-learning natural language processing logic, and determining whether the detected characteristic is outside of a configurable threshold. In response to determining that the detected level is outside of the configurable threshold and based on the keywords being present in the medical information, the method includes generating instructions to retain the biological sample for further testing.

摘要: Embodiments disclosed are directed to apparatuses, systems, and methods for the collection and sampling of agents (including organisms and pathogens) to determine the health of an animal colony. The apparatus includes a perforated housing that incorporates a collection media. The collection media is configured to collect a sample from a target animal, such as a mouse or rat, through the perforations of the housing when the target animal interacts with the perforated housing. The collected sample may include dust, feces, fur, urine, saliva, or other aspect of the target animal's environment.

摘要: A testing apparatus for the detection of Legionella bacteria in a liquid sample includes a sample tray and a lid member. The sample tray defines a planar surface and a plurality of wells recessed relative to the planar surface and is formed from a permeable, transparent material that is non-toxic to Legionella bacteria. The lid member includes an adhesive layer configured to be sealed to the planar surface of the sample tray and formed from a first permeable material, a breathable film layer disposed directly about the adhesive layer and formed from a second, different permeable material, and a backing layer disposed directly about the breathable film layer.

摘要: A system and method for retrieving data from a data generating device includes a communication intermediary and an external data storage system. The communication intermediary has a first network interface that is connected to the external data storage system and a second network interface that is connected to the data generating device. The communication intermediary isolates the network communication between the data generating device and second network interface from the network communication between the external storage system and the first network interface, and thereby isolates the data generating device from the external storage system. The communication intermediary monitors the data generating device for newly generated data files, copies the newly generated data files to an internal memory and sends the data files to the external storage system.

摘要: The present disclosure pertains to methods and systems that calibrate a diagnostic analyzer by first determining whether first diagnostic results exceed a predetermined threshold from a first diagnostic target and adjusting one or more laser settings for the diagnostic analyzer in response. New patient samples are interrogated by the diagnostic analyzer, using the adjusted laser parameters, to determine weighted averaged diagnostic results. In a case where the weighted averaged diagnostic results fall outside of the permissible range, multiplying factors for calibration factors that permit the weighted averaged diagnostic results to fall within the permissible range are determined, and the diagnostic analyzer is calibrated by adjusting the calibration factors corresponding to the parameters of the diagnostic analyzer based at least in part on the multiplying factors.
