摘要： A dielectric ceramic substrate or block contains, at least, two kinds of metal ions, and a dielectric constant in the substrate or block changes continuously or step by step as a function of position. The metal ions contained in the dielectric ceramic material are, at least, two kinds which are selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zn, Pb, Bi, Y, La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Gd, Er, Ti, Zr, Sn, Si and Mn, and the dielectric constant .di-elect cons. changes in the range of 7.ltoreq..di-elect cons..ltoreq.90. This dielectric ceramic material is used in a dielectric substrate for a stripline device, a dielectric substrate for a monolithic IC and a dielectric block for a polarizer. For example, the dielectric substrate for a stripline device, it is so formed that a dielectric constant at its center portion is constant, and becomes smaller step by step or continuously toward its ends. For forming a stripline on the dielectric substrate, when the characteristic impedance is to be constant, a line width at a center portion of the dielectric substrate is narrow and it becomes wider toward the ends.

摘要： A dielectric ceramics contains, at least, two kinds of metal ions and a dielectric constant changes continuously or step by step as a function of position. The metal ions contained in the dielectric ceramics are, at least, two kinds which are selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Zn, Pb, Bi, Y, La, Ce, Nd, Sm, Gd, Er, Ti, Zr, Sn, Si and Mn, and the dielectric constant .epsilon. changes in the range of 7.ltoreq..epsilon..ltoreq.90. This dielectric ceramics is used in a dielectric substrate for stripline device, a dielectric substrate for monolithic IC and a dielectric block for polarizer. For example, when used as the dielectric substrate for stripline device, it is so formed that a dielectric constant at its center portion is constant, and that those at an outer portion becomes smaller step by step or continuously towards ends. In the case of forming a stripline on the dielectric substrate, when characteristic impedance is constant, a line width at a center portion of the dielectric substrate is narrow and it becomes wider towards ends.

摘要： The invention provides a chip antenna comprising: a substrate made by laminating a plurality of sheet layers made of ceramic; a radiating conductor having substantially planar shape and provided on said substrate; a grounding conductor having substantially planar shape and provided so as to oppose said radiating conductor with said sheet layers interposed in between; a capacitor conductor having substantially planar shape and provided so as to oppose said radiating conductor and said grounding conductor with said sheet layers interposed in between; a first shorting conductor which connects said radiating conductor and said grounding conductor; a second shorting conductor which connects said grounding conductor and said capacitor conductor; a feed terminal connected to said radiating conductor or said capacitor conductor; and a ground terminal connected to said grounding conductor. According to the above a chip antenna, the resonance frequency can be adjusted readily with compact size can be achieved.

摘要： A chip antenna in which correct evaluation and inspection of a conductor can be performed regardless of the state of grounding. The chip antenna has a rectangular-prism-shaped substrate formed of a dielectric material comprising, e.g., barium oxide, aluminum oxide and silica. A copper or copper-alloy conductor is spirally wound within the substrate in the longitudinal direction. A feeding terminal for applying a voltage to the conductor and a free terminal are disposed on the surfaces of the conductor. One end of the conductor is attached to the feeding terminal, while the other end is connected to the free terminal.
