摘要: Described herein is a stacked patch antenna, an array of stacked patch antennas, and a method of fabricating a stacked patch antenna. The stacked patch antenna comprises a ground plane, a first substrate on the ground plane, a first patch on the first substrate having a first diagonal non-radiating center slot from a side of the first patch, a second substrate on the first patch, a second patch on the second substrate having a second diagonal non-radiating center slot from a side of the second patch similar to the side of the first patch, and a feed connector having a first conductor directly connected to the ground plane and a second conductor capacitively connected to the first patch and directly connected to the second patch.

摘要: A method includes determining an operating frequency of an antenna at a component of the antenna. The method includes determining, at the component of the antenna, a filter node of a plurality of filter nodes to activate to tune the antenna to the operating frequency. The method includes transmitting power to the filter node, wherein the power is transmitted via a first optical fiber. The method also includes sending a signal from the component to a light source. The activation of the light source sends an optical signal to the filter node. The filter node adjusts a characteristic of a radiating element coupled to the filter node using the power responsive to the optical signal. Adjustment of the characteristic facilitates tuning the antenna to the operating frequency.

摘要: This application provides an antenna structure and a communications terminal. The antenna structure includes an antenna radiator, a signal source, a first capacitor, and a first tuning circuit. A first terminal of the antenna radiator is grounded. A first terminal of the first capacitor and a first terminal of the first tuning circuit are electrically connected to a connection point of the antenna radiator. Antenna impedance of the first terminal of the first capacitor at target frequencies is in the first quadrant of a Smith chart, and the target frequencies are at least some frequencies in frequency bands covered by the antenna radiator.
