Abstract: A printed film RF micros trip bandpass filter includes a plurality of resonators disposed on a dielectric substrate, first and second input/output (I/O) interfaces connected to corresponding first and second resonators flanking one or more intermediate resonators. Opposite ends of the one or more intermediate resonators are connected to a ground plane on an opposite side of the substrate by corresponding conductors. The intermediate resonators have an electrical wavelength that is one-half a wavelength of a center frequency of the filter and the first and second resonators can have an electrical wavelength that is nominally one-half the wavelength of the bandpass filter center frequency.

Abstract: An embodiment of the disclosure provides a tunable radio frequency (RF) circuit, a control method, and an electronic device including the same. An electronic device according to an embodiment of the disclosure may include an antenna, a transceiver, a tunable radio frequency (RF), and at least one processor operatively coupled with the transceiver and the tunable RF circuit. The tunable RF circuit may further include a switch, a low noise amplifier (LNA), a power amplifier (PA), a fixed filter configured to pass signals in a first frequency band, and attenuate signals in a second frequency band at least one tunable filter configured to pass signals in at least a portion of the second frequency band, where the portion of the second frequency band is tunable, and at least one detector configured to detect a signal strength passing through the at least one tunable filter.

Abstract: Various substrate-integrated waveguide (SIW) filtering crossover systems are described. An example SIW filtering crossover system may include: a substrate; a top metal plate placed on top of the substrate; a bottom metal plate placed beneath the substrate; a plurality of metalized via-holes in the substrate connecting the top metal plate and the bottom metal plate; and a plurality of grounded-coplanar-waveguides (GCPWs) coupled to sidewalls of the crossover system, wherein each of the GCPWs connects the crossover system to a respective microstrip line for signal transmission between the respective microstrip line and the crossover system.

Abstract: A hybrid-harmonic waveguide filter includes transformer sections at end terminals of the harmonic waveguide filter, a number of corrugations along the length of the waveguide filter, and multiple ridge interconnects that couple the corrugations. By shaping the identical-cross-section ridge interconnects via single-pass wire electrical-discharge machining (EDM), low manufacturing cost is achieved along with continuous broadband rejection of TEn0 modes and an extremely high-power handling capability is observed.
