摘要: A non-transitory machine-readable medium of an electronic device that stores one or more computer-executable instructions is provided. The one or more computer-executable instructions, when executed by at least one processing unit of the electronic device, cause the electronic device to: decode a wavefront parallel processing (WPP) enabled flag that indicates whether a rectangular tile or a coding tree unit (CTU) row having a height of one CTU exists in a segment in an object tile group; and decode an end bit of the segment. When the WPP enabled flag is 1, after decoding a CTU at a right end of the CTU row, an end bit of a first segment having a first fixed value is decoded. When the WPP enabled flag is 0, after decoding a CTU at a bottom right of a tile, an end bit of a second segment having a second fixed value is decoded.

摘要: A moving image decoding method for generating prediction images by a device is provided. First and second prediction image are generated. Bidirectional prediction gradient change prediction processing is performed by using a first shift value and difference values of horizontally neighboring samples and vertically neighboring samples in the first and second prediction images to generate a first, second, third and fourth gradient images. Motion information is derived by using the first and second prediction images, the first, second, third and fourth gradient images, a second shift value, and a third shift value. Motion compensation correction value is derived by using the motion information and the first, second, third and the fourth gradient images. The third prediction image is generated by using the first and second prediction images and the motion compensation correction value. The first, second and third shift values are derived based on a pixel bit length of eight.

摘要: A prediction image generation method using two prediction images to generate a prediction image by a device is provided. First and second prediction image are generated. Bidirectional prediction gradient change prediction processing is performed by using a first shift value and difference values of the first and second prediction images respectively in horizontal and vertical directions to generate a first, second, third and fourth gradient images. Motion information is derived by using the first and second prediction images, the first, second, third and fourth gradient images, a second shift value, and a third shift value. Motion compensation correction value is derived by using the motion information and the first, second, third and the fourth gradient images. The prediction image is generated by using the first and second prediction images and the motion compensation correction value. The first, second and third shift values are respectively equal to 6, 4 and 1.

摘要: The amount of memory required for CCLM prediction is reduced. The CCLM prediction parameter derivation unit (310442) derives a scale shift value corresponding to a luma difference value, and derives a CCLM prediction parameter, by shifting, by using the scale shift value, a value obtained by multiplying a value of a table referred to with a value obtained by performing right shift of the luma difference value by the scale shift value as an index and a chroma difference value. In addition, in a case of deriving a prediction image, a bit width is reduced by adaptively deriving a shift amount of a linear prediction parameter from the chroma difference value.

摘要: A method for signaling gradual refresh for encoding a set of pictures performed by an electronic device is provided. The method identifies a first picture in the set of pictures as being associated with a gradual refreshed picture, and stores a network abstraction layer (NAL) unit type in a coded stream associated with the first picture. The NAL unit type identifies a presence of the gradual refreshed picture. The method then stores, in the coded stream, an enable flag to identify a use of the gradual refresh for encoding at least a subset of pictures in the set of pictures.

摘要: In conventional cases that different trees are used between luma and chroma and that luma chroma prediction including multiplication in chroma intra prediction is used, there is a problem in that a processing delay caused by the chroma intra prediction is increased in small blocks. In a case that two different trees are used between luma and chroma, in a case of an 8×8 block in a luma size, 0 is derived without decoding qt_split_cu_flag, and in a case of an 8×4/4×8 block in a luma size, 0 is derived without decoding mtt_split_cu_flag. In a case that the size of a target block is smaller than a prescribed size, a chroma intra mode is derived from any one of DC, leftward prediction, and upward prediction.

摘要: A moving image decoding method is provided for decoding encoded data of a tile group generated by splitting a picture into one or more rectangular regions. The tile group includes one or more segments.
