摘要： A silver halide color photographic material containing at least one coupler compound of the formula (1) in at least one hydrophilic colloid layer which is provided on a support:R.sup.1 OCOCHXCONR.sup.2 R.sup.3 (1)where R.sup.1 represents a branched alkyl group including a cyclic alkyl group and a cyclic alkyl-substituted alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.2 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.3 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; X represents a group which splits off from the coupler compound when the coupler compound is reacted with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; and R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 may be bonded to each other to form a ring. The coupler has a high dye-forming rate to give a dye having a high color density and a high color fastness. The material has improved sharpness and color fastness and an elevated sensitivity.

摘要： A silver halide color photographic material is disclosed, which comprises a support having provided thereon at least one hydrophilic colloidal layer, wherein the hydrophilic colloidal layer contains a novel coupler compound having a high dye forming rate and a high color density represented by general formula (I):(R.sup.1 COCHXCONR.sup.2 R.sup.3)--(CONHSO.sub.2 R.sup.4).sub.n(I)wherein R.sup.1 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heterocyclic group, --NR.sup.5 R.sup.6 or --OR.sup.7 ; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.4 represents an alkyl group, aryl group, heterocyclic group or --NR.sup.8 R.sup.9 ; R.sup.5, R.sup.6, R.sup.8 and R.sup.9 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; R.sup.7 represents an alkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group; X represents a group capable of being released as an anion (X.sup.-) when the coupler compound reacts with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent; and n represents an integer of 1 or more, with the proviso that R.sup.1 and R.sup.4, R.sup.2 and R.sup.4, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4, R.sup.2 and R.sup.3, R.sup.5 and R.sup.6, or R.sup.8 and R.sup.9 may be connected to each other to form a ring. The silver halide color photographic material using the novel coupler compound provides a higher sharpness and a higher sensitivity.

摘要： A silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer is disclosed, wherein said light-sensitive material contains a DIR coupler represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein A represents a coupler residue; R represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms or a pyridyl group; and n represents 1 when A represents a phenol type or naphthol type coupler residue, or n represents 0 when A represents other coupler residues, and said emulsion layer contains chemically sensitized silver halide grains which individually have a distinct layer comprising silver iodobromide containing from 7 to 45 mol % of silver iodide and which individually have an overall silver iodide content of more than 4 mol %. The photographic material is excellent in sensitivity, graininess, sharpness, color reproducibility, and preservability and is less liable to variation in photographic performance properties even when continuously processed under replenishment.

摘要： A method for processing a silver halide color photographic material which comprises, after color development of a silver halide color photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one light-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer and at least one compound capable of releasing, upon a reaction with an oxidation product of a developing agent, a compound which is capable of releasing a development inhibitor upon a reaction with another molecule of an oxidation product of a developing agent, treating said photographic material with a liquid having a fixing ability, followed by processing thereof while replenishing washing water or a stabilizing solution in an amount of from 2 to 50 times the amount carried over from the preceding bath per unit area of the silver halide color photographic material.In accordance to the method of the present invention the color photographic materials processed are resistant to fading of dyes formed, growth of molds, and formation of stain, even when the amount of washing water or a stabilizing solution is reduced.
