    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose an acknowledgement indication method for data transmission and a related device. The method includes: detecting, by a base station, whether each user equipment (UE) in an acknowledgement group transmits data, to obtain a detection result; generating, by the base station, an acknowledgement indication message according to the detection result, where the acknowledgement indication message indicates a flag bit status corresponding to each UE in the acknowledgement group, the flag bit status includes a first state or a second state, the first state indicates that the base station finds data, and the second state indicates that the base station does not find data; and sending, by the base station, the acknowledgement indication message.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a precoding matrix indicator feedback method, a receive end, and a transmit end. The method includes: selecting, by a receive end based on a reference signal, a precoding matrix W from a codebook, where a coefficient α is used to perform phase adjustment on φn in W, φn represents a phase difference between weighted values of a first antenna group and a second antenna group of a transmit end for a transmission signal from a same transmission layer, ϕ n ∈ {  j2π   n Q } , and the first antenna group and the second antenna group belong to a same multi-antenna system; and sending, by the receive end, a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) to the transmit end. In this way, using the coefficient α to perform the phase adjustment on φn can increase a size of a codebook set applicable to different antenna configurations, and improve precision of the receive end to feed back a PMI.

A terminal determines a precoding matrix, where the precoding matrix includes at least two column vector sets, a column vector associated with any column vector set of the at least two column vector sets exists in the at least two column vector sets, and both the any column vector set and the associated column vector are applied on different polarization antennas; the terminal determines a first precoding matrix indicator (PMI) and a second PMI based on the precoding matrix; and the terminal sends the first PMI and the second PMI to a base station.
