Abstract: This application provides a sequence-based signal processing method and apparatus. A sequence used for sending a signal on a PUSCH is determined. The sequence is a sequence {xn} including N elements, xn is an element in the sequence {xn}, and the determined sequence {xn} is a sequence satisfying a preset condition. Then, a first signal is generated and sent. By using the determined sequence, when a signal is sent on the PUSCH, relatively good sequence frequency domain flatness can be maintained, and a relatively low PAPR value and a relatively low cross-correlation between sequences can be maintained, thereby satisfying a communications application environment in which a signal is sent on the PUSCH, especially an NR system scenario or an NR similar scenario.

Abstract: Example transmission methods and apparatus are described. One example method includes: determining, by a network device, downlink control information (DCI), wherein the DCI includes a first request field. The first request field indicates sending reference signal from the network device to a terminal device, and the first request field triggers the terminal device to report a measurement result of the reference signal to the network device. The measurement result includes channel state information (CSI) and/or beam state information (BSI). The DCI is sent by the network device to the terminal.

Abstract: A paging method, to improve transmission efficiency of a paging message is provided. The method includes that a first terminal device determines, in a discontinuous reception periodicity, a first paging occasion of the first terminal device. When channel listening on the first paging occasion fails, the first terminal device receives a first paging message in a time window, where a start position of the time window is determined based on the first paging occasion, and the time window includes at least one paging occasion.

Abstract: This application discloses a communication method and a communications apparatus. The method includes: receiving a discovery reference signal from a network device, where the discovery reference signal includes one or more first signals, and the discovery reference signal further includes one or more second signals; and the first signal includes at least a common signal block or a CSI-RS. The first signal may be used to carry configuration information of the second signal, or configuration information of the discovery reference signal may be received from the network device. The corresponding apparatus is further disclosed. According to the solutions in this application, composition of the discovery reference signal can be accurately indicated, to avoid frequent channel discovery, and improve resource utilization efficiency of the discovery reference signal.

Abstract: This application provides a channel quality information reporting method, a terminal device, and a network device. The reporting method includes: receiving, by a terminal device, a first reference signal and a second reference signal that are sent by a network device; receiving, by the terminal device, first indication information sent by the network device, where the first indication information includes a quasi co-location (QCL) assumption relationship between the second reference signal and the first reference signal; and reporting, by the terminal device, second channel quality information to the network device based on the QCL assumption relationship, where the second channel quality information is channel quality information for the second reference signal. According to this application, resource overheads for reporting channel quality information can be reduced.
