摘要: Techniques for measuring CSI (Channel State Information) based on beamformed CSI-RS having reduced overhead are discussed. One example embodiment configured to be employed in a UE (User Equipment) comprises a memory; and one or more processors configured to: process higher layer signaling indicating one or more CSI-RS resources associated with a plurality of REs (Resource Elements) comprising a RE for each CSI-RS resource for each of one or more CSI-RS APs (Antenna Ports) in each of a plurality of continuous PRBs (physical resource blocks); process additional higher layer signaling comprising one or more CSI-RS parameters that indicate a subset of the plurality of REs associated with a beamformed CSI-RS transmission; decode one or more CSI-RSs from the indicated subset; and measure one or more CSI parameters based on the decoded one or more CSI-RSs.

摘要: A method for operating a user equipment (UE) for channel state information (CSI) feedback in a wireless communication system is provided. The method comprises receiving, from a base station (BS), CSI reference signals (CSI-RSs) and CSI feedback configuration information, estimating a channel based on the received CSI-RSs, determining, based on the estimated channel and the CSI feedback configuration information, a number of non-zero coefficients (KlNZ) for each layer (l) of a total number of υ layers, wherein υ≥1 is a rank value, and a sum of the KlNZ across each of the υ layers as a total number of non-zero coefficients (KNZ), where KNZ=Σl=1υKlNZ. The method further comprises transmitting, to the BS, the CSI feedback including the KNZ value over an uplink (UL) channel.

The method includes receiving (from a sensing device) a precoding setting request for the measurement signals for channel estimation, wherein the precoding setting request is indicative of one or more precoding settings prioritized for sensing, configuring the transmitter to use precoding settings for the plurality of measurement signals for channel estimation based on the precoding setting request, and transmitting the one or more physical layer packets. A method is also disclosed of a receiver configured to operate as a sensing device.

摘要: A base station may precode a first reference signal using a first precoder (P1) and at least one second reference signal using at least one second precoder (P2). At least two UEs may measure the first reference signal and the at least one second reference signal, and transmit channel state feedback based on the measuring (m11 and m12 for a first UE, and m21 and m22 for a second UE). The channel state feedback may comprise channel state information compressed by at least one neural network. The base station may derive a higher-level precoder (W) for multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) downlink transmission to the at least two UEs.

摘要: Provided is a precoding method for generating, from a plurality of baseband signals, a plurality of precoded signals to be transmitted over the same frequency bandwidth at the same time, including the steps of selecting a matrix F[i] from among N matrices, which define precoding performed on the plurality of baseband signals, while switching between the N matrices, i being an integer from 0 to N−1, and N being an integer at least two, generating a first precoded signal z1 and a second precoded signal z2, generating a first encoded block and a second encoded block using a predetermined error correction block encoding method, generating a baseband signal with M symbols from the first encoded block and a baseband signal with M symbols the second encoded block, and precoding a combination of the generated baseband signals to generate a precoded signal having M slots.

A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving information about a CSI report. The information indicates codebook parameters NL≥1 combinations of values of {α1, . . . , αNTRP} from a first table and a value of (M,β) from a second table. {α1, . . . , αNTRP} is related to a number of a first set of vectors associated with each of NTRP groups of ports, where αr≤1 for r=1, . . . , NTRP, β is a parameter related to a maximum number of coefficients, and M is a parameter related to a second set of vectors. The method further includes determining the CSI report based on the information and transmitting the CSI report. The codebook parameters are configured based on a third table that links the first and second tables.
