Abstract:
A processing machine for the production of a dental workpiece from a blank, includes a housing in which a first chamber and a second chamber are arranged, in which the second chamber is separate from the first chamber. A first holding device for holding a blank is provided, and the first holding device is arranged in the first chamber and is movable relative to the housing. A second holding device for holding a blank is provided, and the second holding device is arranged in the second chamber and is movable relative to the housing. A processing device is movable relative to the housing, and a blank held in the first holding device and a blank held in the second holding device can be processed by the processing device.
Abstract:
A blank, in particular a dental blank, for the production of a tooth prosthesis, includes a bed of a first material, and at least one core region which is embedded in the bed and which has a different color from the bed and includes a second material. The core region has a surface directed in the direction of the bed, and a boundary layer delimiting the bed relative to the surface of the core region is directed in the direction of the bed. The boundary layer simulates a dentine boundary between a dental enamel and a dentine, and the blank has at least two separate core regions with separate surfaces directed in the direction of the bed.
Abstract:
A computer-controlled machining center, particularly a CAD/CAM cutting device for dental technology applications, includes a clamping device with a displaceably supported holding device on which a carrier plate for receiving a molded blank is supported. The carrier plate is formed with at least one passage opening to accommodate the molded blank pivotally about a pivot axis (a) that is substantially parallel to the main plane of the carrier plate. A clamping assembly allows the shaping blank to be mounted in the through opening rotatably about an axis of rotation (b) that extends parallel to the main plane of the carrier plate and encloses a given angle, preferably 90°, with the pivot axis (a) of the carrier plate.
Abstract:
A machining apparatus for grinding, milling, polishing or the like of a dental workpiece. The machining apparatus contains a machining tool, a housing to which the machining tool is mounted rotatably about an axis of rotation relative to the housing, and a holding device to which the housing is fixed. The housing is mounted yieldingly movably to the holding device in dependence on forces exerted on the machining tool.
Abstract:
A copy milling device for the production of in particular dental workpieces, comprising a carrier plate for a model body and a shaping blank, an arm which is arranged pivotably about a horizontal axis extending substantially normal to its longitudinal direction and which has a motor-driven machining tool for cutting shaping of a workpiece from the shaping blank and a tracing device for tracing the model portion, wherein the machining tool and the tracing device are mechanically and synchronously movably connected, wherein the copy milling device comprises a suspension device for the arm.
Abstract:
A method of producing a dental prosthesis produced from a gum part, and prosthetic teeth arranged on the gum part and connected to the gum part. The surface of the dental prosthesis is surface-treated, the surface treatment of the dental prosthesis involving a solvent, and the solvent containing at least one chlorohydrocarbon and at least one methane nitroderivative.
Abstract:
An axially elongate dental machining portion includes a machining region machinable by a dental machining device, and a fixing region for fixing the axially elongate dental machining portion to a holder of the dental machining device. In the fixing region is a fixing projection oriented transversely relative to a longitudinal axis. In a condition of the machining portion being mounted in the holder, the fixing projection bears against a holding nose positioned in complementary relationship on the holder. The machining region has a machinable surface which has a maximum spacing relative to the longitudinal axis, measured normal to the longitudinal axis, and the fixing projection has a maximum spacing relative to the longitudinal axis, measured normal relative to the longitudinal axis, that is greater than the maximum spacing of the machinable surface relative to the longitudinal axis.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a support plate for a particularly manually actuated duplicating milling apparatus. The support plate contains at least one through-hole in which a blank and a solid model are or can be disposed by one respective substantially disk-shaped retaining element. The retaining elements for the blank and the solid model are or can be arranged in the at least one through-hole so as to be pivotable about at least one substantially horizontal axis of rotation.
Abstract:
A holding apparatus for an in particular dental workpiece includes a holding element and a fixing device. The workpiece can be fixed to the holding apparatus by a relative movement of the fixing device with respect to the holding element. The fixing device or the holding element has a split sleeve, and the inside surface of the split sleeve forms a clamping surface for the workpiece. Upon the relative movement of the fixing device with respect to the holding element, the workpiece can be braced against the holding device by the clamping surface.
