摘要: According to one embodiment, a separation and extraction apparatus includes an extraction unit, separation unit, air supply mechanism, detector, and controller. The extraction unit extracts and conveys one or more paper sheets from a stack of paper sheets. The separation unit separates one paper sheet from the other paper sheet(s) of the one or more paper sheets. The air supply mechanism supplies air toward a side surface of the stack. The detector detects a bundle state of the stack, which is related to a contact state between the paper sheets. The controller sets an extraction condition depending on the bundle state, which includes drive conditions for the extraction unit, separation unit, and air supply mechanism.

摘要: In an apparatus, a pile of sheets is mounted on a support base, and is brought into contact with a guide. A high-frequency vibration is applied to the sheets from a vibrating part which is pressed to the pile. A sheet on the uppermost surface of the pile is transferred by a feed roller. The guide has a guide end defining a guide entrance between the guide end and the feed roller, through which the sheets is passed. The guide end is arranged substantially in a virtual plane including a contact position at which the vibrating part is in contact with the uppermost surface of the pile, and substantially parallel with the sheets. A separation section for separating sheets from each other is arranged behind the entrance, and an air blow-off section for blowing air into the side of the pile is provided in the vicinity of the entrance.

摘要: The invention is concerned with a small-format yet high-performance zoom optical system with a fewer lenses count, and an electronic system that incorporates it. The zoom optical system comprises, in order from its object side, a first lens unit G1 of negative refracting power, a second lens unit G2 of positive refracting power and a third lens unit G3 of negative refracting power, in which zooming is implemented by movement of at least the second lens unit G2 and the third lens unit G3, thereby varying a space between adjacent lens units. The negative first lens unit G1 is composed of one negative lens, the positive second lens unit G2 is composed of one positive lens, and the negative third lens unit G3 is composed of one negative lens. The negative lens in the third lens unit G3 is in a negative meniscus shape with a concave surface on its image plane side.

摘要: A pile of sheets is held by a separator/feeder and a vibrator is brought into contact with a first region of the pile with a first contact pressure. High frequency vibrations are applied from the vibrator to the sheet. A takeout mechanism is brought into contact with and pressed against the pile with a second contact pressure and sheets are taken out one by one from the top surface of the pile by the takeout mechanism. A first sensor detects the position of the vibrator and outputs a first detection signal, while a second sensor detects the uppermost surface of the pile and outputs a second detection signal. A control section selects first and second contact pressures according to the first and second detection signals and maintains the first and second contact pressures.

摘要: In a belt driving mechanism, an endless belt is wrapped around a driving roller and a driven roller. The endless belt runs between the driving roller and the driven roller. The axis of the driven roller is placed so as to form a certain angle of torsion to a plane containing opposite ends of the driving roller and a middle point between opposite ends of the driven roller. Rotation of the driven roller is decelerated or stopped with the driving roller keeping on rotating to run the endless belt. Resistance is thus offered to between the endless belt and the driven roller while keeping the driving roller rotating to run the endless belt, so that the endless belt is slipped on the driven roller.

摘要: The invention relates to an electronic image pickup system that enables a wide image-pickup, and ensures that even when an image is printed, sufficient image quality and clearness are obtained from the center to as far as the margin of the image and the image of a subject is depicted with a sense of extension. The electronic image pickup system comprises an image-formation optical system 10 for forming an image of a subject and an electronic image pickup device 20 located on an image side of the image-formation optical system for obtaining image information on the image. The angle between the farthest-off-axis chief ray incident on the farthest off-axis site on an image pickup plane of the electronic image pickup device and an axial chief ray incident on the center of the image pickup plane satisfies condition (1) for determining the angle of view suitable to obtain the sense to extension demanded for landscape photography and sharpness all over the image and condition (2) for allowing a light bundle incident on the image pickup device to be substantially vertically incident on the image pickup plane. The image pickup device 20 satisfies condition (3) for determining the effective number of pixels on the image pickup device or the maximum number of recording pixels by signal processing.
