The bearing apparatus is configured to have a shaft rotatably attached thereto. The bearing apparatus is configured to move along the elongated opening. The external bearing system further includes a plurality of moveable plates covering or configured to cover substantially all of the base elongated opening that is not occupied by the shaft regardless of a position of the bearing apparatus relative to the base elongated opening. One or more of the moveable plates are configured to move relative to the base plate as the bearing apparatus moves relative to the base plate.

The invention is based on the consideration that from a control behavior of the device, the causes of a fault of the belt run can be identified, deduced or narrowed down. Furthermore, a system for monitoring and guiding a conveyor belt using a device according to the invention is described.

    摘要: A draper belt tensioning system having a frame, roller, control link, and tension link. The roller is movable relative to the frame. The control link has a proximal end pivotally attached to the frame, and a distal end that is remote from the proximal end. The tension link has a proximal end connected to the roller and a distal end connected to the control link at a connection location offset from a control link pivot axis. The control link is movable between a locked position in which the connection location is on a first side of the roller rotation axis and the control link pivot axis, a centered position, and an unlocked position in which the connection location is on another side of the roller rotation axis and the control link pivot axis. The control link has a greater angle in the locked position than in the unlocked position.
