    Abstract: A lateral guiding device includes a support and an idle guide roller which is able to be mounted in a removable manner on the support between a first part making it possible, in an operational position, to support one end of the axle of the roller at an upper point, and a second part making it possible to support the other end of the axle of the roller at a lower point. The first part of the support is movable between the operational position and a retracted position. The support includes a retaining element which, when the first part is in the retracted position and does not support the roller, has the function of vertically retaining the roller in a removal position in which the second end of the axle of the roller is supported at the lower point by the second part.

    Abstract: A right angle transfer device has a conveying surface defined by a plurality of conveying members that are driven to convey objects in a conveyance direction. A diverting conveying member is mounted to a frame and is driven to divert objects in a direction angled away from the conveyance direction. A lift drive rotates a cam to move a bar in a substantially horizontal direction. The movement of the bar causes a frame link connected to the bar and the frame to raise and lower the frame. Once the frame has been moved upward to a sufficient extent, the diverting conveying member will be raised above the conveying members to come into contact with the object to thereby move and divert the object away from the conveyance direction.

    Abstract: A multi-directional or omni-roller for a conveyor system includes a first transport surface portion formed by a cylindrical roller body, and a second transport surface portion formed by multi-directional wheels. The wheels have a main body that is rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the roller, and a set of secondary wheels around an outer circumference of the main body. The secondary wheels rotate perpendicular relative to the rotation of the roller, and permit articles or drive belts to travel over the roller in a conveyance direction in a driven manner and permit articles to move laterally across the second transport surface portion without transferring lateral forces to a conveyor frame. For skew roller beds, a drive belt may drive the roller about the secondary wheels, substantially without lateral forces being transferred or introduced to the drive belt.
