Abstract: A machining fixture counterbore bolt fitting includes a counterbore bolt, (SHCS) screw and jam nut. The counterbore bolt defines an axial bore therethrough, sized to location clearance or sliding fit receive the screw and a counterbore sized to running fit receive a head of the screw and of a depth for the head of the screw to bear on the bottom of the counterbore. The counterbore bolt is threaded through a machining fixture to bring a distal end of the bolt into contact with a surface of a part to be machined, with the axial bore around a screw-threaded bore in a fixture mating surface of the part. The screw is threaded into the screw-threaded bore, holding the part against movement with respect to the fixture. The head of the screw bears on the counterbore bottom, pulling the fixture mating surface against the bolt shaft threaded through the machining fixture.

Abstract: A rapid installation screw includes radially expanding threads. The screw may include a number of discrete thread segments removably affixed to a distal end of an internal shaft. Initially, the thread segments may together have an outer diameter that allows them to slide into a screw hole without engaging threads of the screw hole. Thereafter, a further downward force on the screw will disconnect the thread segments from the internal shaft so that the internal shaft can move axially down between the thread segments. The diameter of the internal shaft forces the thread segments radially outward into engagement with the threads of the screw hole. The internal shaft further includes ribs radially oriented around the internal shaft to fit in between the thread segments. Rotation of the screw head and internal shaft will exert torque on the thread segments, causing them to rotate as well, thus allowing the thread segments to unscrew from the threaded hole.

Abstract: A bone screw for Charcot foot includes a non-threaded intermediate portion between threaded tip and head portions. The intermediate portion is longer than the tip and head portions. The head portion has an outer diameter larger than the intermediate and tip portions. The screw includes a helical groove on the intermediate portion. The head portion is removably coupled to the intermediate portion by a shape coupling between two profiles which allows only one relative coupling orientation or at least two relative coupling orientations rotated by a specific angular distance with respect to each other. The head portion is coupled to the intermediate portion by a shape coupling between two profiles comprising a radial groove and a radial relief.

Abstract: A clamping apparatus includes a spindle body and a nut element to be screwed together for decreasing a spacing between first and second clamping elements to clamp an object disposed therebetween. The nut element has roller bodies with a defined roller engagement structure axially rotatably secured on a receiving body of the nut element and distributed in circumferential direction. A plurality of engagement regions distributed and/or spaced apart on the spindle body each have one spindle body engagement structure.
