A multilayer ceramic capacitor comprises a capacitor body and an external electrode that is formed at both ends of the capacitor body. The capacitor body comprises dielectric layers composed of the dielectric ceramics, and internal electrode layers. The dielectric layers and the internal electrode layers are alternately laminated.

To provide a dielectric ceramics achieving a high insulation resistance even at a low applied voltage, and minimizing insulation resistance drop when the voltage is increased, and also provide a multilayer ceramic capacitor including the dielectric ceramics as a dielectric layer, and having excellent life characteristics in a high temperature load test. The dielectric ceramics has crystal grains composed mainly of barium titanate and containing vanadium, and a grain boundary phase existing between the crystal grains. The dielectric ceramics contains 0.0005 to 0.03 moles of vanadium in terms of V2O5, with respect to 1 mole of barium constituting the barium titanate. In the X-ray diffraction chart of the dielectric ceramics, the diffraction intensity of (004) plane indicating the tetragonal system of barium titanate is larger than the diffraction intensity of (400) plane indicating the cubic system of barium titanate.

In a chip-type electronic component of the present invention, at least one surface of a ceramic body is a convexly curved surface. Specifically, at least one surface in a thickness direction of the ceramic body may be convexly curved, and the side surface of the ceramic body may be concavely curved. Alternatively, only one surface may be a convexly curved surface. This chip-type electronic component has a high visibility and a high mechanical strength, though it is small. Moreover, in a chip-type electronic component comprising a ceramic body that is formed by alternately laminating insulating layers and conductor layers, and a pair of external electrodes, the thickness in a laminate direction at the central part between external electrodes of the ceramic body is made greater than the thickness of the end surface. This prevents breakage of the external electrodes and also enlarges the ceramic body.

A film feeding device of a camera includes a film feeding mechanism which has an initial winding mode to feed film mounted in the camera and wind a first frame to a shooting position, a first frame winding mode to wind the film by one frame subsequent to shooting, a manual rewinding mode to rewind the film into a film cartridge when a rewinding operation member is operated, and an automatic rewinding mode to rewind the film into the cartridge when the film is rewound through the final edge during rewinding of the film by one frame. A frame number counting mechanism counts a number of shootable frames remaining each time one frame is wound, and counts a number of frames remaining to be rewound each time one frame is rewound. An initial value setting mechanism sets a total number of frames of film as an initial value of the number of shootable frames remaining for the frame number counting mechanism subsequent to initial winding, and sets concurrently the number of frames already shot as the initial value of a number of frames remaining to be rewound for the frame number counting mechanism prior to rewinding. A display displays the frame number counted by the frame number counting mechanism. The initial value setting mechanism computes the number of frames already shot using different methods for the manual rewinding mode and for the automatic rewinding mode.
