Then, determining the column string that most closely matches the column expression, and logically identifying each document element of the document image based on the closest matching column string.

Abstract:
A user enters a document processor simple instructions of the use of an output document and the image finish of the document, for example, by a design instruction input unit. In response to the simple instructions, a design parameter determining unit determines design parameters. An area dividing unit divides the input image into partial image areas of document elements. A logic identifier applying unit applies logic identifiers to the document elements. An output image generator unit processes the document image according to the design parameters provided respectively for the logic identifiers, whereby forming an output image as instructed.

A complementary MOS integrated circuit device has an MOS transistor of one conductivity type formed on a semiconductor substrate and an MOS transistor of another conductivity type opposite to the one conductivity type formed on the MOS transistor of one conductivity type through a separate layer. A dissimilar material whose nucleation density is sufficiently larger than that of the material of the separate layer and which is fine enough so that only a single nucleus of a semiconductor layer material grows is provided on the separate layer. The MOS transistor of the opposite conductivity type is formed in a monocrystalline semiconductor layer or substantial monocrystalline semiconductor layer provided by growing around the single nucleus formed on the hetero material.

Abstract:
A pulse frequency modulation type DC-DC converter has first and second voltage level comparators for controlling the frequency of a control signal used to drive an output coil. The first voltage comparator detects a first voltage level and the second voltage comparator detects a second voltage level. A reference voltage circuit produces reference voltages corresponding to the first and second voltage levels and provides the reference voltages to the first and second voltage comparators, respectively. An oscillating circuit generates the control signal under control of the first and second comparators. The control signal has one of a first pulse width and a second pulse width depending upon outputs of the first and second voltage comparators for controlling a switching device used for driving an output coil. The switching device is turned on to drive the output coil during a first pulse width when the first voltage comparator detects that the output voltage coincides with the first voltage level. The switching device is turned on to drive the output coil during a second pulse width when the second voltage comparator detects that the output voltage coincides with the second voltage level. Thus, outputs from the first and second voltage comparators determine the frequency of the control signal by controlling the pulse width of respective pulses of the control signal.
