Abstract:
By using a graft polymer comprising a dendritic polymer with a styrene skeleton and a hydrophilic polymer grafted to a terminal thereof, a temperature-responsive substrate for cell culture having a temperature-responsive surface for cell culture that allows cells to be cultured with high efficiency and which yet allows cultured cells to be exfoliated in a short period of time and with high efficiency by simply changing the temperature of the substrate surface can be prepared conveniently. If this temperature-responsive substrate for cell culture is used, cells obtained from a variety of tissues can be cultured with high efficiency. If this culture method is utilized, cultured cells can be exfoliated intact in a short amount of time with high efficiency. In addition, by using this graft polymer, a wide range of peptides and proteins can also be separated by simply changing the temperature of a chromatographic carrier. This allows for convenient separation procedure and improves the efficiency of separating operations. What is more, the stereoregularity of the dendritic polymer per se may be utilized to enable separation of solutes based on differences in their molecular structures.

A laminated composite interior component including a first member having a predetermined mating surface, and a second member made of an elastically deformable resin material, having a plate portion substantially parallel to the mating surface and multiple solid protrusions formed integrally with the plate portion so as to protrude toward the mating surface so that space is created between the plate portion and the mating surface, and placed on the first member such that the protrusions contact the mating surface, and the laminated composite interior component having cushioning properties as tip ends of the protrusions are pressed against the mating surface and elastically deformed, the multiple protrusions being provided so as to spread all over the plate portion, and flexural rigidity of each protrusion against a compressive load having anisotropy around an axis perpendicular to the plate portion, and each of the multiple protrusions having a longitudinal shape in a transverse section parallel to the plate portion, the protrusion having one or more stepped portions so as to have a smaller section on its tip end side, the stepped portion being formed in only one of a pair of sidewalls located on both sides in a lateral direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the longitudinal shape, and an axis of the protrusion being tilted toward an opposite sidewall side from the side on which the stepped portion is formed.
Abstract:
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a cultured cell sheet that expresses phenotypes of the chondroid tissue. The problems can be solved by producing the cultured cell sheet in which cells are cultured on a surface of a cell culture support that is coated with a temperature responsive polymer having an upper or lower critical solution temperature ranging from 0° C. to 80° C. in water, including steps of: adjusting the temperature of the culture medium to a temperature below the lower critical solution temperature or above the upper critical solution temperature; bringing the cultured cell sheet in close contact with the carrier; and detaching the cultured cell sheet together with the carrier.

A ferroelectric layer (104) is sandwiched between a lower electrode layer (103) and an upper electrode (105). When a predetermined voltage (DC or pulse) is applied between the lower electrode layer (103) and the upper electrode (105) to change the resistance value of the ferroelectric layer (104) to switch a stable high resistance mode and low resistance mode, a memory operation is obtained. A read can easily be done by reading a current value when a predetermined voltage is applied to the upper electrode (105).
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an oil composition comprising the following components (A) and (B):(A) 15 to 70% by weight of diglycerides in which less than 15% by weight of the constitutive fatty acids are (3 type unsaturated fatty acids; and (B) 30 to 85% by weight of a triglyceride in which at least 15% by weight of the constitutive fatty acids are (3 type unsaturated fatty acids. The oil composition is good in flavor, hard to be colored, excellent in hydrolytic stability and resistance to oxidation, good in emulsion stability and excellent in intake balance among fatty acids even under severe conditions that heating is performed at a high temperature for a long period of time, can be widely developed to medicinal preparations and foods and moreover exhibit an excellent inhibitory effect on accumulation of body fat by ingestion of a small amount of diglycerides.
