摘要: Various arrangements for restricting mobile device usage are presented. A mobile device may collect movement and location sensor data. The mobile device may determine it is being operated within a moving vehicle based on the sensor data. The mobile device may use interaction data indicative of a user's interactions with the mobile device while the mobile device is being operated within the operating vehicle. An in-vehicle mobile device usage profile may be created based on the sensor data and the collected user interaction data. The in-vehicle mobile device usage profile may be analyzed to determine that a user of the mobile device is currently an operator of the moving vehicle. In response to determining that the user of the mobile device is currently the operator of the moving vehicle, access to one or more functions of the mobile device may be restricted.

When the device is in a focused mode, one or more features of said device, including one or more features relating to cellular communications, are at least partially disabled.

摘要: Method and apparatus for notifying an emergency responder of a vehicle emergency. Communication is established with a cellular telephone located within the vehicle. The communication link is monitored and the vehicle occupant is notified of link loss. The apparatus monitors vehicle safety systems for detection of an emergency condition. Upon detection, the occupant is notified that an emergency call will be made. If no cancellation is received, vehicle location information is obtained from a global position system, synthesized into voice signals, and communicated to an emergency responder using the cellular telephone. A plurality of occupant and vehicle emergency information may also be provided. Emergency responders may be provided with a touch tone menu to select among the available information. Vehicle and occupant information may be communicated to the apparatus from external sources, such as a web server database via cellular telephone connection, or removable memory.

摘要: A technique for identifying at least one mobile terminal travelling in a vehicle is disclosed, wherein the vehicle comprises a connected device. In a method aspect, the method comprises initializing a list of identifiers, IDs, of at least one candidate mobile terminal currently travelling in the vehicle, obtaining a current first position of the connected device and a current second position of the at least one candidate mobile terminal, comparing the current first position and the current second position so as to determine whether the current first and second positions match, and iteratively refining the list of IDs depending on the match of the current first and second positions by repeating the steps of obtaining and comparing until a predetermined condition is met.

The control station is configured to display vehicle status data received from each UAV, including displaying a location of each UAV in a single interface. The control station may transmit the received control command, or a command derived therefrom, to the respective UAV. The single interface may provide for a user to view and control flight operation of each of the UAVs independently through the single interface.

摘要: A vehicle maneuver detection application is proposed for driving assistant systems. The application can accurately and inexpensively detect and differentiate vehicle steering maneuvers by utilizing built-in sensors on smartphones or other portable computing device residing in a vehicle. By leveraging an effective bump detection algorithm and studying the nature of steering, the application is capable of differentiating various steering patterns, such as lane change, turn, and driving on curvy roads. Practicality of the application is demonstrates by two use cases: careless steering detection and fine-grained lane guidance. Thus, the application provides new functionalities without relying on cameras to provide a broader range of driving assistance.
