The first tunable RF filter path includes a pair of weakly coupled resonators. A first filter parameter of the second tunable RF filter path is tuned based on a second filter control signal.

摘要: A wireless communication device includes a signal generator supply a signal to an input node to which a power amplifier is connected. The power amplifier includes an inverter including a first transistor with a gate connected to the input node via a first signal path and a second transistor with a gate electrode connected to the input node via a second signal path. An output signal corresponding to the signal supplied to the input node is supplied from an output node between the first and second transistors. A filter is connected to the output node and outputs a filtered signal having a high frequency component removed. A bias application unit applies a first bias voltage to the first signal path and a second bias voltage to the second signal path. Levels of the bias voltages being set according to a direct current component in the filtered signal.

摘要: A method of adapting an antenna to a transceiver system having a receiver subsystem and a transmitter subsystem comprises using an automatic tuning system to tune the antenna with respect to the receiver subsystem. The tuning results in an optimal receive signal at the receiver subsystem in response to RF energy radiated to the antenna. The tuning system may include a tuning detection element for radiating RF energy to the antenna, and a tuning element for tuning the antenna. After tuning the antenna, the method further comprises tuning a tunable matching network, coupled between an output of an RF power device of the transmitter subsystem and an input of the antenna, to facilitate an optimal power transfer amount from the RF power device to the antenna while the RF power device operates according to certain desired parameters. The desired parameters may include output power and efficiency.

A tunable delay cell includes passive mixers electrically coupled together for receiving an input signal and outputting a delayed signal, each passive mixer comprising a plurality of mixer switches. The tunable delay includes a control circuit for providing, to each passive mixer, a respective plurality of local oscillator (LO) signals, one to each mixer switch of each passive mixer. The control circuit is configured to vary the LO signals to cause a target frequency band of the input signal to be delayed by a target delay time in propagating through the passive mixers.

摘要: A front-end circuit includes an antenna terminal, front-end terminals (Pfe1, Pfe2), a circulator, and frequency-variable filters. The circulator sends transmission signals of communication bands of a frequency division duplex system and a time division duplex system from the front-end terminal (Pfe1) to the antenna terminal. The circulator sends a reception signal from the antenna terminal to the front-end terminal (Pfe2). The frequency-variable filter is connected between the front-end terminal (Pfe1) and the circulator, passes transmission signals of the frequency division duplex system and the time division duplex system, and attenuates signals other than the above transmission signals. The frequency-variable filter is connected between the circulator and the front-end terminal (Pfe2), passes a reception signal of the frequency division duplex system, and attenuates signals other than the above reception signal.

摘要: An antenna device includes an impedance converter circuit connected to a feeder circuit, an impedance-conversion-ratio adjustment circuit, and an antenna. The impedance converter circuit includes a first inductance element and a second inductance element, which are coupled to each other through magnetic fields, so as to provide an autotransformer circuit. The impedance-conversion-ratio adjustment circuit includes a third inductance element which is series-connected between the impedance converter circuit and an antenna port, and a capacitance element which is shunt-connected between the antenna port and ground. The impedance-conversion-ratio adjustment circuit corrects an impedance conversion ratio of the impedance converter circuit in accordance with a frequency band.
