Abstract: A method for displaying an Android application image in a virtual reality system includes, but is not limited to, acquiring screen contents to be displayed. The method further includes calling a SurfaceFlinger module responsible for display synthesis in an Android system, and determining display relations of the screen contents to be displayed. The method further includes sketching textures of the screen contents to be displayed according to the determined display relations by means of an OpenGL. The method further includes establishing a grid for a left-side screen and a right-side screen of the virtual reality system, respectively. The method further includes sketching the textures to respective grids of the left-side screen and the right-side screen for displaying. These solutions solve the problem that an ordinary Android application cannot be correctly displayed in the virtual reality system, and largely increase the number of Android applications usable in the virtual reality system.

Abstract: Head-mounted display systems and methods of operation that allow users to couple and decouple a portable electronic device such as a handheld portable electronic device with a separate head-mounted device (e.g., temporarily integrates the separate devices into a single unit) are disclosed. The portable electronic may be physically coupled to the head-mounted device such that the portable electronic device can be worn on the user's head. The portable electronic device may be operatively coupled to the head-mounted device such that the portable electronic device and head mounted device can communicate and operate with one another. Abstract: In one embodiment, an augmented view is provided utilizing a panorama. A panorama of the physical environment is captured with a panoramic camera. The panorama has a panoramic field of view and is embodied as a sequence of video frames. An initial pose of the panoramic camera is determined. The panoramic camera is tracked to update the initial pose to subsequent poses to account for movement of the panoramic camera about the physical environment. The tracking utilizes features dispersed across the panoramic field of view of video frames. The panorama is augmented by merging computer-generated elements with the panorama based on the updated pose of the panoramic camera. A sub-portion of the panorama, along with the computer-generated elements, is displayed as an augmented view. The displayed augmented view may have a field of view that is less than the panoramic field of view.

In some example embodiments, there is provided a method that includes receiving, at a receiver, backfill data representative of sensor data stored, at a continuous blood glucose sensor and transmitter assembly, due to a loss of a wireless link between the receiver and the continuous blood glucose sensor and transmitter assembly; generating, at the receiver, at least one of a notification or a graphically distinct indicator for presentation at a display of the receiver, the at least one of the notification or the graphically distinct indicator enabling the backfill data to be graphically distinguished, when presented at the display, from non-backfill data; and generating, at the receiver, a view including the backfill data, the non-backfill data, and the generated at least one of the notification or the graphically distinct indicator. Related systems, methods, and articles of manufacture are also described.

Abstract: A mobile terminal, including a camera configured to obtain an image; a display configured to display map information; a movement sensor configured to sense a movement of the mobile terminal; and a controller configured to display a preview image received through operation of the camera to at least part of a region where the map information is displayed, when the movement of the mobile terminal corresponds to a preset type of movement while the map information is displayed, and to display at least one graphic object related to the map information as being overlapped on the preview image, wherein the preview image includes at least one image corresponding to at least one subject, and the at least one graphic object related to the map information is displayed to the at least one image or around the at least one image. When the at least one graphic object related to the map information is selected, the controller is further configured to capture an image corresponding to the selected graphic object, restrict output of the preview image based on selection of the graphic object, and display the captured image to a point on the map information where a subject corresponding to the captured image is positioned. Further, the preset type of movement is a speed change of the mobile terminal.
