Abstract: A front-end image acquisition component acquires photographs and/or videos of the exterior of a vehicle traveling on a path between a first predefined location and a second predefined location. In one aspect, an image acquisition system comprises a first camera support structure, a second camera support structure, an image processor, and a memory. Cameras are affixed to each of the camera support structures for acquiring image data of a subject vehicle. Image data is controlled by the image processor and the memory. In another aspect, an image acquisition system comprises a first camera tower, a second camera tower, a camera boom. Cameras are affixed to each of the camera towers.

Abstract: Devices and methods for conducting a remote photography session are described. In some instances, a computing device at a photography station receives messages from a photography station controller which is remote from the photography station. In some examples, the computing device receives one or more messages instructing the computing device to capture an image from an image capture device. The computing device can also receive one or more messages instructing the computing device to adjust the image capture device. Additionally, the messages may instruct the computing device to present instructions to a subject of the photography session. These instructions can prompt the subject to make adjustments to meet a criteria for a photograph in the photography session.

Abstract: A system and method for filming and displaying a 3D image is provided, including acquisition of one or more video images at one or more capture locations of one or more subjects, the images being recorded as a data film for storage and playback, or transmission over a network, to a watching audience. The video images at the display venue are projected onto or through semi-transparent screens arranged to appear in front of a backdrop to a stage. The images may be displayed alongside or on the same stage as live performing talent, the projection perceived by the viewing audience as a virtual image. The semi-transparent screen is invisible to the watching audience or the cameras during the performance. The video image viewed by an online audience is perceived as bearing a close likeness to subject(s), providing a real presence of a virtual subject performing on a stage.

Abstract: A virtualized production switcher for media production is provided that includes a script database that stores predefined macros that each define a script for applying media production functions to media content, and a script optimizer that selects a subset of the predefined macros to be presented on a user interface as suggested scripts for each of a plurality of scenes of a media stream. Moreover, a program generator receives a user input via the user interface that selects one of the predefined macros and applies the corresponding script to a selected scene of the media stream for a media production by applying the at least one media production function to the selected scene based on an identified key-frame thereof. A script profiler identifies metadata related to the selected scene and updates the script database to store a correspondence between the selected scene and the selected predefined macro.

Abstract: Devices and methods for evaluating at least one photograph during a photography session are described. In some instances, a camera may be used to capture images during a photography session and a computing device may be used to identify a portrait order specification for the photography session including a set of required photographs, each having associated required criteria. The computing device may evaluate the images and determine whether the images can be associated with any of the required photographs based on features included in the images being associated with the required criteria of the required photographs. The images associated with required photographs may be displayed, and a determination of whether the images qualify as a required photograph may be made using a graphical user interface, or may be made automatically.

A method for calibration of an intensity of a thermal feedback of a feedback device may comprise: outputting the thermal feedback in order from a weak intensity to a strong intensity among a plurality of intensities of the thermal feedback; obtaining a first user input; setting an intensity of the thermal feedback outputted at the time of the obtaining the first user input to a lowest intensity of the thermal feedback; obtaining a second user input; setting an intensity of the thermal feedback outputted at the time of the obtaining the second user input to a highest intensity of the thermal feedback; setting at least one intermediate intensity; and outputting the thermal feedback by using the lowest intensity, the highest intensity and the at least one intermediate intensity.

Abstract: In one or more embodiments, one or more systems, methods, and/or processes may utilize a reactive processing system in an augmented reality (AR) system. The AR system may execute program instructions based on a region of an input video signal and produce an output video signal that includes a first output that includes a video effect from the program instructions. If so, the program instructions may be executed based on the region of the input video signal and a change of the region of the input video and produce the output video signal that includes the second output that includes the video effect. Abstract: Methods and devices for selectively presenting a user interface on a second screen. More particularly, the method includes a change in the display mode of a multiple screen device from a first screen to a second screen while the device is closed. The change in the display mode may be made in response to a request from an application. The application may be executed and have the user interface window associated with the application moved to a second screen. The change to the second screen can be requested based on input into the application or automatically generated based on the type of application. In response to the request from the application, the device can render the user interface in the second screen.
