The construction method permits the crane to be positioned on an assembled portion of the elevated roadway, while constructing the remaining portion of the elevated roadway.

摘要： The method and facilities for movement of vehicles over long distances are presented. The Method is comprised of the following steps: (a) connecting at least two main rollers displaced over a long distance: one in a port of departure and one in a port of arrival, by a series of closed-loop, light, strong cable (consisting of one or more loops) located at least in one of the following places: in the air, on the ground surface, on the water surface; (b) supporting said cable by at least one of the following devices: wings, air balloons, columns, rollers; (c) connecting at least one of said main rollers to an engine; (d) running said engine; (e) connecting at least one load vehicle to said cable at departure port; (f) accelerating said vehicle; (g) disconnecting said vehicles from said cable at arrival port; (h) braking said vehicles. An Installation using Method for Movement of vehicles comprising: A set of rollers disposed in the ports of departure, arrival, at points of direction change, and at middle points; a set of light, strong, closed-loop cables (loops) connect the ports of departure and arrival located over a long distance; engines placed near rollers and connected at least to one of said rollers; vehicles for transportation of people and loads; devices for connection and disconnection of the vehicles to the cable and placed on the vehicles. The author also proposes 5 projects: an air bridge over the Straits of Gibraltar, airlines connecting New York to Washington D.C., and New York to Paris, airline for delivery of fuel gas, and typical Auto Highways or city passenger transit systems.

摘要： A transportation system includes a rail system and a vehicle capable of traveling on a road surface or the rail system. The vehicle includes two sets of wheels, one wheel for riding on the road surface, and another for riding on the rail. The rail is provided at an acute angle, and the wheels pivot, so that an outer flange on the rail lockingly engages an outer flange on the wheel, thereby preventing derailment. A controller automatically controls the vehicles on the rail. Magnetized bumpers on the vehicles enable the vehicles to travel on the rail in pods. Transition zones for easy entrance and exit to and from the rail system are provided at road overpasses.

摘要： Elevator cabs are transferred between elevators, which may be shuttles, in various levels of a building, such as transport floors, in response to car calls registered in the cabs and hall calls registered on the transport floors. The cabs may be transferred from carriages or bogeys onto elevator car frames in a lateral direction, which is perpendicular to the motion of the cab on a carriage or bogey, or in a longitudinal direction which is the same as the direction of motion of a cab on a carriage or bogey. The horizontal/vertical control and transfer may be effected in response to the arrival at transport floors of elevators having cabs therein, or in response to the arrival at an elevator of a bogey carrying a cab which must be transported between a transport floor on one level of a building and a transport floor on another level of a building, in order to serve the need of a car call registered therein or a hall call. The horizontal transportation may occur on transport floors within a building, or may extend between different building segments or between different buildings.
