    摘要: A recurrent neural network model is trained to ignore noise components and accurately reconstruct quasi-periodic SpO2 signal waveforms. In accordance with the invention, the neural network is trained on a carefully structured data set so as to be able to (1) be able to use deep learning techniques for model training, and (2) utilize traditional time-series forecasting neural network techniques to produce a clean reconstructed signal from potentially noisy inputs. A novel technique is used to construct a training data set that turns a forward-looking RNN forecasting model into a “sideways-looking” model which acts as a sophisticated noise filter.

    摘要: The present invention relates to satellite systems and more particularly, to the provision of a satellite system for weather and climate monitoring, communications applications, and scientific research at higher latitudes, referred to as the circumpolar region and defined here as the area with latitudes greater than 60°, in either the northern hemisphere or the southern hemisphere. Contrary to the teachings in the art it has been discovered that a satellite system and method may be provided using satellites in 24 sidereal hour orbits (geosynchronous) with inclinations (70° to 90°), orbital planes, right ascensions and eccentricities (0.275-0.45) chosen to optimize coverage of a particular service area located at high latitudes. A constellation of two satellites can provide continuous coverage of the circumpolar region. The satellites in this orbit avoid most of the Van Allen Belts.

    摘要: A system for power measurement in an electronic device includes a sensing unit, an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) and a controller. The sensing unit senses voltage across a power source and modulates a carrier signal based on the sensed voltage. The ADC converts a combination of the modulated carrier signal and audio signals received by the electronic device to generate a digitized combined signal and provides the digitized combined signal to the controller. The controller separates digitized modulated carrier signal and digitized audio signals. The digitized modulated carrier signal is demodulated to generate an output signal that provides a measure of the power consumed by the electronic device.
