    Abstract: A snap-action valve assembly for an exhaust system is provided with a conduit that defines an exhaust passageway. A valve flap is disposed within the exhaust passageway for controlling exhaust flow. A shaft supports the valve flap in the exhaust passageway and allows the valve flap to rotate between closed and open positions. A mass damper, positioned outside the conduit, includes a longitudinal segment that is rotatably coupled to the shaft and that extends between first and second coiled ends. The longitudinal segment includes an inboard side and an outboard side. The first and second coiled ends include a series of overlapping layers arranged in either a folded serpentine shape or a spiral shape.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a dispensing device, a valve, a containing apparatus having same, a contents moving apparatus, and a contents apparatus, comprising a passing operation unit provided in the housing, for moving and guiding contents, wherein the passing operation unit comprises a contents passing means for moving the contents. Unlike conventional art, the present invention may secure a space for passing contents while preventing reception of contents, which exceeds a demand, by adjusting a passing space and a receiving space, stably induce passing of a demanded amount of contents within a predetermined range, and prevent remaining of contents more than necessary by limiting the space for receiving the contents, thereby enabling adjustment of the amount (number) of contents being received.

    Abstract: A check valve comprises an annular housing defining a generally circular opening. A plurality of radially extending arms extend across the circular opening from the centre of the valve housing to respective nodes at the periphery of the valve housing. A plurality of cross arms extend between circumferentially adjacent nodes, thereby dividing the circular opening into a plurality of primary, generally triangular radially inner openings and a plurality of secondary, generally segment shaped radially outer openings. A plurality of primary, generally triangular flapper elements close the primary openings and a plurality of secondary, generally segment shaped flapper elements close the secondary openings. Respective mounting posts are arranged at a respective node and a respective hinge pin is mounted between respective circumferentially adjacent mounting posts.

    Abstract: A valve assembly for a vehicle exhaust system includes an exhaust component body defining an exhaust gas flow path and a flap mounted to pivot in the exhaust gas flow path between a minimum flow position and a maximum flow position. At least one bushing supports the flap for rotational movement relative to the exhaust component body about an axis. In one example, a damper is positioned radially between the bushing and the flap and defines an inner diameter that is smaller than an outer diameter of the bushing. In another example, a damper is attached to the flap such that a distal edge is free from attachment to a distal edge of the flap such that as the flap returns to the minimum flow position the damper first contacts the exhaust component body and then the flap contacts the damper.

    Abstract: A slide valve comprises: a casing having a pair of facing flow channels; a slide plate inserted into and removed from a space between the flow channels; and an annular sealing body slidingly moving in a facing direction of the flow channels inside the casing and coming into contact with the slide plate inserted between the flow channels to bring the slide valve into a closed state. A first sealing member sealing a gap between the sealing body and the inner peripheral wall surface is disposed on an inner peripheral surface of the annular sealing body and a second sealing member sealing a gap between the sealing body and the outer peripheral wall surface is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the annular sealing body.

    Abstract: Provided is a valve assembly system including a flowbody including a channel formed at an inner surface thereof, a butterfly plate disposed within the channel and rotatably mounted within the flowbody. The system also includes a pair of dual-sided pistons that receive differential pressure at an input side and an output side of the valve assembly system. A spring is controlled for biasing against at least one of the dual-sided pistons based on the differential pressure, and to rotate the butterfly plate to regulate the differential pressure and the valve assembly system to a predetermined output pressure.
