Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes a controller that acquires original image data and specifies a plurality of target areas including a first target area and a second target area, and the target areas include background pixels and colored pixels. The controller determines pixel values of first colored pixels, respectively, the pixel value representing a color of the first colored pixel; determines a first conversion pixel value based on the pixel values of the first colored pixels; determines pixel values of second colored pixels, respectively, the pixel value representing a color of the second colored pixel; and determines a second conversion pixel value based on the pixel values of the second colored pixels. The controller converts the pixel value of every pixel included in each of the first target area and the second target area into each of the first conversion pixel value and the second conversion pixel value.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the disclosed innovations provide systems and methods for locating data associated with rendered documents. Some embodiments support the use of a handheld document data capture device.
Abstract:
[Problem]To provide an image data distribution server that is capable of distributing digitally watermarked image data that correspond to the ranks of user access rights to client terminals.[Solution]An image data distribution server (11) has: an image data generation means that generates multiple sets of image data of various kinds on individual images of multiple pieces of electronic information of various kinds that are stored in the server; a rank-based classification means that, upon receiving requests from users for distribution of the image data, classifies the access rights of the respective users to the image data in terms of ranks on the basis of authentication results for the users; a display form changing means that adds digital watermarks that correspond to the respective access right ranks classified by the rank-based classification means to the image data in an unremovable manner; and an image data distribution means that distributes the multiple sets of image data of various kinds, including the image data to which the digital watermarks are added, to client terminals (12A-12C).
Abstract:
A photo media printing method includes the following steps. Firstly, a photo media file is selected by a digital media controller of an area network. Then, a marked is added to the selected photo media file by the digital media controller, so that a new photo media file containing the mark is produced. Afterwards, the new photo media file is transmitted to a network printing device of the area network, and the new photo media file is printed out by the network printing device. In other words, the mark is added to the photo media file by simply selecting the photo media file.
Abstract:
A system and method are presented to allow audio communication between users concerning an image. The originator of the communication uses a wearable mobile device app to select an image and record an audio commentary. The image, audio commentary, and metadata are submitted to a cloud server for storage. The app uses the server to analyze a recipient address to determine the preferred mode of delivery. If the recipient is a known user of the app, the file is delivered without combining the image, audio commentary, and metadata into a standard movie file. Otherwise, the originator's app delivers the file through MMS or e-mail for the recipient as a movie file for viewing using a standard video player.
Abstract:
An electronic device for editing a dual image and a method thereof are provided. The method includes storing at least one photographed front and rear images, respectively, and editing a stored dual image using at least the one stored front and rear images.
Abstract:
A showerhead for personal hygiene is provided that includes a valve actuator that is powered mechanically or electrically to provide variation in spray pattern, variation in water flow, or a combination thereof upon a user initiating valve actuator operation. A power supply, with a recharge capability for the power source, is provided of a battery-electric motor or a spring, the power supply is in mechanical communication with the actuator. A user interface includes buttons corresponding to different multimodal operational programs for the showerhead. A user programmable keypad allowing selection between different spray modes, flow rates and a combination thereof is provided within an integral showerhead housing or a remote control. A user is able to change modes without intervening manual manipulation between modes; as a result an enhanced massage experience is provided. A timed shower period, reduced water flow patterns, or a combination thereof is also provided to save water.
Abstract:
A system for processing a text capture operation is described. The system receives text captured from a rendered document in the text capture operation. The system also receives supplemental information distinct from the captured text. The system determines an action to perform in response to the text capture operation based upon both the captured text and the supplemental information.
Abstract:
An information recording apparatus includes: a moving image input unit configured to input a moving image; a position information obtaining unit configured to obtain position information at the time of the moving image being input; a position information converting unit configured to convert the obtained position information into at least either bitmap data or text data, relating to a place determined with the position information thereof; a data stream generating unit configured to generate a data stream including at least either the converted bitmap data or text data, and video data corresponding to the input moving image; and a recording control unit configured to record the generated data stream as a moving image file.
Abstract:
A portable device having scanning, imaging or other data-capture capability is described. In some cases, the portable device can indicate to the user when enough information has been captured to uniquely identify a source document. In some cases, the portable device calculates timestamps and location-stamps indicating when and where a data capture occurred. In some cases, the portable device is controlled by gestures. In some cases, the portable scanning device has associated billing and content/service subscription information.
