摘要: A two-roller roll press, with a machine frame, has two rollers, which have shaft journals at respective axial ends of the rollers for mounting in a bearing construction. At least one of the rollers is mounted at one or both shaft journals in a thrust bearing construction. The thrust bearing construction has a thrust bearing, a thrust bearing housing ring, an outer thrust bearing cap and a bearing cap. The thrust bearing is shrunk onto a shaft journal. The thrust bearing housing ring and the bearing cap are detachably connected into one unit, which is in turn fastened detachably to the thrust bearing cap, which is in turn detachably fastened to the bearing housing.

摘要: A turbocharger includes a turbine wheel, a shaft portion, and a bearing housing. The bearing housing has a drain passage and a drain groove. In a state where the turbocharger is mounted an internal combustion engine, a connecting portion at which the accommodation space is connected to the drain groove is provided in a fourth region located on a lower side with respect to a central axis of the accommodation space. Furthermore, an extension line of the drain groove and the central axis are skew lines. The extension line passes through a third region located on an upper side with respect to the central axis.

摘要: Drive shaft bearing structure assemblies and methods for a snowblower can include a transmission and at least one drive shaft coupled to the transmission. The assembly can further include a transmission casing containing the transmission. The transmission casing can include at least one bearing structure. The bearing structure can be configured to receive a portion of the drive shaft during axial rotation of the shaft. In some aspects, there can be two drive shafts. In this aspect, the bearing structure can be configured to receive a first portion of each of the two drive shafts during axial rotation of the drive shafts. In another aspect, the bearing structure is bolted onto the transmission casing as a journal bearing.

摘要: A carrier bearing assembly includes a bracket, a mounting structure permitting the bracket to be mounted to a frame of a vehicle, an opening in the bracket extending through the bracket, from a first lateral side of the bracket to a second lateral side of the bracket, the opening substantially offset (e.g., an inch or more off center) in a direction; and a bearing fitted into the opening permitting a driveshaft of the vehicle to pass through and to substantially constrain movement of the driveshaft. Additionally, the opening can be formed as a non-straight hole allowing the driveshaft to pass through the bearing at a non-perpendicular angle. The carrier bearing assembly permits a substantial correction one more operating angle of the driveshaft by constraining the angle of a portion of the driveshaft.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a high-voltage generator for an x-ray source, an x-ray gun, an electron beam apparatus, a rotary vacuum seal, a target assembly for an x-ray source, a rotary x-ray emission target, and an x-ray source. These various aspects may separately and/or together enable the construction of an x-ray source which can operate at energies of up to 500 kV and beyond, which is suitable for use in commercial and research x-ray applications such as computerised tomography. In particular, the high-voltage generator includes a shield electrode electrically connected intermediate of a first voltage multiplier and a second voltage multiplier. The electron beam apparatus includes control photodetectors and photo emitters having a transparent conductive shield arranged therebetween. The rotary vacuum seal includes a pumpable chamber at a position intermediate between high-pressure and low-pressure ends of a bore for a rotating shaft. The rotary target assembly is configured such that when a torque between a bearing housing and a vacuum housing exceeds a predetermined torque, the bearing housing rotates relative to the vacuum housing. The rotary x-ray emission target has a plurality of target plates supported on a hub, the plates being arranged on the hub to provide an annular target region about an axis rotation of the hub. The x-ray gun is provided with a shield electrode maintained at a potential difference relative to the x-ray target different to the electron beam emission cathode.

摘要: A housing for retention of the outer race of a bearing of a gas turbine engine includes an arrangement of spring fingers that yields a lightweight housing capable of withstanding very high radial loads combined with very high torsional windup and axial thrust load. Controlled circumferential gaps on both sides of each spring finger limit the deflection and self-arrest the distortion of the housing. An axial gap is created on the aft end by a portion of the spring finger beam structure that opposes an axial face of the housing and limits the axial distortion. A radial gap created between interface hardware of the housing and the inner retention housing also acts to retain the spring finger housing under load in a radial direction.

摘要: A shaft bearing assembly including a housing, in which a bearing is arranged, is disclosed. The housing includes a first and second flange part. The first and second flange parts can be connected to each other, wherein the two flange parts jointly form a receptacle for the rolling-element bearing, wherein one of the flange parts has at least one securing interface and the other has at least one securing counter-interface, wherein the first and second flange parts can be connected to each other and/or fixed to each other in a positive-locking manner by the securing interface and the securing counter-interface that prevents the two flange parts from detaching from each other in an axial direction established by projecting the axis of rotation of the rolling-element bearing onto the housing. The first and second flange parts are hooked to each other by the securing interface and the securing counter-interface.
