Abstract: An insert coaxial thermal radiation image evaluating system includes a cage support, first lens, first cage movable frame, second cage movable frame, cage holder and light detector. The first cage movable frame is movably disposed at the cage support and connected to the first lens. The second cage movable frame is movably disposed at the cage support and connected to the light detector. The cage holder is connected to the cage support to fix the cage support to an optical substrate. The first cage movable frame is movably disposed in the cage holder. The first lens and a second lens of a metal additive manufacturing system together form a structure of conjugate foci, such that a thermal radiation generated from a high-power infrared laser irradiation zone forms according to a fixed ratio an image captured by the light detector.

Abstract: A system with a detector array, a processor unit and a signal interface. The detector array includes a plurality of bolometric measuring cells and a base body. Each measuring cell is configured to detect infrared radiation and to transmit a measurement signal, which is representative of the readings of the measuring cells, to the processor unit. The processor unit is configured to determine a body heat stored by the base body, to determine a predictive value compensated according to the time delay of the respective measuring cell for each current reading, to determine a temperature value corrected according to the measurement error for each current predictive value, and to determine a thermal image based on the current temperature values, allowing an image signal representing the thermal image to be sent from the signal interface. A corresponding method is also provided.

Abstract: A thermal imaging apparatus for measuring a temperature of a target in a monitored area comprises a thermal imager, an optical image capturing device and a computing processing device. The thermal imager is configured to capture a thermal image of the monitored area. The optical image capturing device is configured to capture optical images of the monitored area. The computing processing device is configured to determine one of the optical images as a determined optical image synchronizing with the thermal image according to positions of blocks corresponding to the target in the thermal image and the optical images, perform calculation according to the thermal image and the determined optical image to obtain a measured distance between the target and the thermal imaging apparatus, and perform calibration according to the measured distance and the thermal image to obtain a calibrated temperature value of the target.

Abstract: There is provided an electronic device capable of improving the difficulty of breaking a digital electronic lock and the accuracy of gesture control. The electronic device is unlocked according to gestures of a single hand or two hands, an operation hand, a gesture position, a staying time of gesture and a gesture variation of a user. The electronic device further improves the accuracy of gesture control in conjunction with an accessory pattern, temperature sensing and space information of a wearable device. The present disclosure further provides an electronic device that identifies legitimacy of moving the electronic device according to a variation sequence of 3-axis accelerations of an accelerometer.

Abstract: A thermographic sensor is proposed. The thermographic sensor includes a plurality of sensing elements each comprising at least one thermo-couple. The thermographic sensor is integrated on a semiconductor on insulator body that is patterned to define a grid suspended from a substrate; for each sensing element, the grid has a frame with the cold joint of the thermo-couple, a plate with the hot joint of the thermo-couple and one or more arms sustaining the plate from the frame. The frames include one or more conductive layers of thermally conductive material for thermally equalizing the cold joints with the substrate. Moreover, each sensing element may also include a processing circuit for the thermo-couple that is integrated on the corresponding frame. A thermographic device including the thermographic sensor and a corresponding signal processing circuit, and a system including one or more thermographic devices are also proposed.

Abstract: A thermal imaging system includes an infrared camera, a user interface, and a processor. While an actuation of the user interface is detected, the processor is configured to apply non-uniformity correction (NUC) values to infrared image data in infrared images of a target scene; register the corrected infrared images using image stabilization; perform an image-stabilized optical gas imaging process using the registered infrared images to generate optical gas image data indicating a change in the target scene; and generate a display image including the optical gas image data. Actuation of the user interface may be detected while a depressible trigger is depressed, and no longer detected when the depressible trigger is released. Upon detecting the actuation of the user interface, the processor may perform a NUC process to establish the NUC values. A drift indicator in the display image may indicate movement of the infrared camera from a reference position.
