摘要: The disclosure provides methods of making iron-based alloys, as well as resulting alloys. An iron-based alloy containing a small amount of nickel (e.g., 0.5 to 2.0 wt %) is annealed and machined. The alloy is sufficiently ductile to reduce the likelihood of cracking, while not sufficiently high to result in a hardened alloy. After the alloy is shaped, the alloy is hardened by nitriding.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a metal elastic element which is suitable for sensing or the like of a fluid pressure change and exhibits favorable resilience even in the case of receiving a sudden pressure change, and also provide a diaphragm using the same. A metal elastic element of the present invention is composed of a two-phase stainless steel having a γ-phase and an α-phase, wherein the area ratio of the γ-phase is 40% or less, and the two-phase structure is a marble-like metal structure. In the invention, it is preferred that the element has a fiber texture in which γ and α are preferentially oriented parallel to the thickness direction.

摘要: An austenitic stainless steel with improved strength, ductility and weldability is provided. An austenitic stainless steel has a chemical composition of, in mass %: 0.005 to 0.07% C; 0.1 to 1.2% Si; 3.2 to 6.5% Mn; 9 to 14% Ni; a total of not less than 0.005% and less than 3% of at least one of Cu and Co; 19 to 24% Cr; 1 to 4% Mo; 0.05 to 0.4% Nb; 0.15 to 0.50% N; up to 0.05% Al; up to 0.03% P; up to 0.002% S; up to 0.02% O; 0 to 0.5% V; 0 to 0.5% Ti; 0 to 0.01% B; 0 to 0.05% Ca; 0 to 0.05% Mg; 0 to 0.5% REM; and the balance being Fe and impurities, where the amount of Nb analyzed as residues after electrolytic extraction is 0.01 to 0.3 mass %.

摘要: An optimized Gamma-prime (γ′) strengthened austenitic transformation induced plasticity (TRIP) steel comprises a composition designed and processed such that the optimized γ′ strengthened austenitic TRIP steel meets property objectives comprising a yield strength of 896 MPa (130 ksi), and an austenite stability designed to have Msσ(sh)=−40° C., wherein Msσ(sh) is a temperature for shear, and wherein the property objectives are design specifications of the optimized γ′ strengthened austenitic TRIP steel. The optimized γ′ strengthened austenitic TRIP steel is Blastalloy TRIP 130.

摘要: A stainless steel pipe has a composition of, in mass %: C: up to 0.02%; Si: 0.05 to 1.00%; Mn: 0.1 to 1.0%; P: up to 0.030%; S: up to 0.002%; Ni: 5.5 to 8%; Cr: 10 to 14%; Mo: 2 to 4%; V: 0.01 to 0.10%; Ti: 0.05 to 0.3%; Nb: up to 0.1%; Al: 0.001 to 0.1%; N: up to 0.05%; Cu: up to 0.5%; Ca: 0 to 0.008%; Mg: 0 to 0.05%; B: 0 to 0.005%; and balance Fe and impurities. The pipe having a microstructure including martensite and, by volume fraction, 12 to 18% retained austenite. The martensite has prior austenite grains of a crystal grain size number lower than 8.0 in accordance with ASTM E112. The stainless steel pipe has a yield strength of 550 to 700 MPa.

摘要: A process for producing a high-grade steel tube includes the steps of: providing a tubular blank of an austenitic high-grade steel, wherein the high-grade steel comprises in weight % no more than 0.02% carbon, no more than 1.0% manganese, no more than 0.03% phosphor, no more than 0.015% sulfur, no more than 0.8% silicon, no more than 17.5% t to 18.5% nickel, no more than 19.5% to 20.5% chromium, no more than 6.0% to 6.5% molybdenum, no more than 0.18% to 0.25% nitrogen, no more than 0.5% to 1.0% copper,and a remainder of iron and unavoidable impurities; and cold-forming the blank into a tube.

摘要: According to an embodiment, the described hot mold steel may be excellent in high thermal conductivity to decrease the temperature difference in materials at high temperature, thereby making heat-checking properties excellent. When the hot mold steel according to the present disclosure is used for die casting, the cooling rate of the product produced using the die casting is quick, thereby improving the physical properties of the produced product and shortening the cooling time to improve productivity. Furthermore, the hot mold steel may have excellent high temperature durability, such that the die casting produced using the hot mold steel may have characteristics of a long life cycle.

摘要: Provides is a method of producing a grain oriented electrical steel sheet by heating a steel slab having a predetermined composition, then subjecting the slab to hot rolling to obtain a hot rolled sheet, then optionally subjecting the hot rolled sheet to hot band annealing and subsequent cold rolling once, or twice or more with intermediate annealing performed therebetween to obtain a cold rolled sheet with final sheet thickness, then subjecting the cold rolled sheet to primary recrystallization annealing and subsequent secondary recrystallization annealing, in which the aging index AI of the steel sheet before final cold rolling is set to 70 MPa or less to effectively grow Goss-oriented grains to thereby obtain a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet with good magnetic properties, without the restriction of containing a relatively large amount of C.

The alloys include Fe, Cr and Mo and at least three or more elements selected from C, Ni, Cu, Nb, Si and N. As built parts indicate a tensile strength of at least 1000 MPa, yield strength of at least 640 MPa, elongation of at least 3.0% and hardness (HV) of at least 375.
