Abstract: A wireless power transmitter includes a signal generator for generating power signals, a modulator for modulating a phase of a power signal to be time reversed based on beacon signals received from the wireless power transmitter and modulating an amplitude of a power signal to be amplified, a controller for providing a phase and amplitude control algorithm to be performed by the modulator, and an antenna unit for transmitting the power signals and receiving the beacon signals. The wireless power transmitter controls the amplification of amplitudes by using the phase and amplitude control algorithm, thereby improving wireless power transmission efficiency. In addition, the wireless power transmitter includes a multiple polarization antenna to enable high-efficiency wireless power transmission, regardless of a direction of the power signals and a direction of polarization.

Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a bimetallic catalyst for reductively decomposing nitrate nitrogen, a powder including a trivalent iron oxide, a powder including a trivalent iron oxyhydroxide powder or a combination thereof is mixed in an aqueous solution. A copper precursor and a palladium precursor are mixed in the aqueous solution to form a precursor mixture. The precursor mixture is dried. The dried precursor mixture is fired at a temperature from about 300° C. to about 450° C. to form a fired product. The fired product is reduced by a reducing agent. A hydrochloric acid solution is mixed in the aqueous solution, or mixed with the copper precursor or the palladium precursor.

Abstract: Provided is a method for designing a current supply device for wirelessly supplying power to a vehicle having a current collection device. In the design method, the gap between the two adjacent magnetic poles of the current supply device is received as input and then the gap between the current supply device and the current collection device is determined based on the gap between the two magnetic poles. Next, the magnitude of the power to be supplied to the current supply device is determined based on the value required with respect to the magnitude of the magnetic field and the gap between the current supply device and the current collection device. According to the design method, current supply device can easily be designed since various functional requirements are decoupled from each other.
