摘要： A solid lubricated resistive ink includes solid lubricants which provide self-lubrication of the resistive ink under high vacuum and low moisture conditions. The resistive inks include a polymer-based binder and an electrically conductive solid lubricant which remains electrically conductive and lubricative under low moisture and high vacuum. Effective lubricants include MoSe.sub.2, NbSe.sub.2 graphite intercalated with bromine and graphite intercalated with a metal chloride. The resistive ink may additionally include carbon.

摘要： Improved sulfurized metalworking lubricants derived from natural fats and oils which are modified by reacting the natural fat or oil with a hindered polyol and a dicarboxylic acid are provided. Also disclosed are sulfurized blends of said modified fats and oils with fatty acid esters and lubricant compositions useful for a variety of metalworking applications wherein the sulfurized modified triglycerides or sulfurized blends are combined with other lubricating agents, emulsifiers and additives.

摘要： A process for preparing a fluid for traction drive from a fraction containing compounds having at least four aromatic rings is disclosed. The fraction is a by-product produced at the time of the preparation of alpha-methyl-benzylalkylbenzenes by alkylation of at least one compound selected from C.sub.7 -C.sub.10 alkylbenzenes with styrene in the presence of an acid catalyst. The process comprises the steps of decomposing the fraction in an atmosphere of hydrogen at a predetermined temperature and pressure, collecting a decomposition product having a boiling range not higher than 450.degree. C. and then subjecting the decomposition product to nuclear hydrogenation at aromatic rings thereof in the presence of a catalyst capable of nuclear hydrogenation.

摘要： The new sulphur-containing polyether-urethanes are prepared by a polyaddition reaction of aromatic, cycloaliphatic and/or aliphatic polyisocyanates with(a) at least one aliphatic dialcohol containing a sulphur bridge, of the formula ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 to R.sup.8 are identical or different and denote hydrogen or an alkyl radical with 1 to 10 carbon atoms andx denotes the average number of sulphur atoms in the range from 1.5 to 4, if appropriate in the presence of(b) a polyethylene glycol and/or(c) a dialcohol which carries at least one anionic group and/or at least one diamine which carries an anionic group, and, if appropriate,(d) other cycloaliphatic, araliphatic or heterocyclic dialcohols and/or aromatic, cycloaliphatic or aliphatic diamines.The compounds can be used as anti-wear agents in aqueous hydraulic fluids and cooling lubricant concentrates.

The sulfur-containing complex esters are excellent in the thermal stability and the lubricity, so that these esters are useful as base oils for spin finishing compositions for synthetic fibers.

The modified triglycerides exhibit enhanced thermal stability and can be used either in neat form or in solution, particularly with 40 SUS to 300 SUS mineral oils.
