Abstract: An electric motor driveline fluid for an electric motor system including a lubricating base oil, at least one sulfurized component, and at least one dispersant derived from a polyisobutylene having an average number molecular weight of at least 2000. The electric motor driveline fluid provides acceptable wear performance as well as good electrical conductivity and oxidative stability for use in electric motor system fluids having a low viscosity when select elemental relationships of phosphorus, sulfur, and calcium and included in the fluid.

Abstract: A lubricant composition with improved stability and tolerance for water hardness comprises a synthetic wax emulsion; an amine derivative; an emulsifier; and a sequestrant. The synthetic wax emulsion may include poly(ethyleneoxide)-based or poly(propyleneoxide)-based wax emulsions. The amine derivative may include alkyl C12-C14 oxy propyl diamine. The lubricant composition can be used for lubricating the passage of a container along a conveyor. The method includes applying the lubricant composition to at least a part of the container or the conveyor in an application cycle, where the application cycle includes a first period of time of dispensing the lubricant composition and a second period of time of not dispensing the lubricant composition.

Abstract: Provided is an internal combustion engine lubricating oil composition which comprises a major amount of an oil of lubricating viscosity; one or more oil soluble or oil dispersible organic acid anhydrides, said anhydride comprising at least one hydrocarbyl or hydrocarbylene moiety having from about 10 to about 400 carbon atoms; and an oil soluble or oil dispersible secondary hydrocarbylamine compound, a tertiary hydrocarbylamine compound, or combinations thereof. Also provided is a method for maintaining and/or increasing fresh oil TBN of a lubricating oil composition while at the same time improving seal performance in an internal combustion engine.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a corrosion-protection system suitable for producing aqueous metal treatment and metal processing fluids, particularly corrosion-protection, cleaning and cooling lubricant emulsions. The corrosion-protection system comprises carbonic and/or phosphonic acids, as well as at least one amine with at least one oxybis(alkylamine) unit. Such corrosion-protection systems effectively protect metal surfaces from corrosion and have a high level of water solubility, which is essential for formulating aqueous concentrates for metal treatment and metal processing fluids. The present invention further relates to an aqueous surface-active and corrosion-protecting preparation containing the corrosion protection system and an emulsifier system, as well as an oil-containing water-miscible emulsion concentrate, which supplies the ready-to-use corrosion-protection, cleaning and cooling lubricant emulsions by dilution with water.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a lubricating agent for mounting or releasing a tire bead, comprising alkaline electrolyzed water and a lubricant component. The lubricant component comprises a lubricant base oil, which is made up of a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil, and a surfactant. The present invention relates to a method for producing a lubricating agent for mounting or releasing a tire bead, the method comprising: mixing an alkaline electrolyzed water with a lubricant component. A tire and wheel assembly method, comprising: applying the above lubricating agent onto a contact surface of the wheel with a tire bead, and thereafter assembling the tire onto the wheel having had the lubricating agent applied thereon. A method for dismantling a tire and wheel integrated together, comprising: causing the above lubricating agent to seep onto a part of a contact surface of a wheel and a tire bead, and thereafter releasing the tire from the wheel. The provided is a lubricating agent for mounting or releasing a tire bead allows mounting a tire easily onto a wheel, at a bead seating pressure of 300 kPa or less; leaves little residual component after mounting; and enables easy releasing of a tire from a wheel. The present invention provides a tire and wheel assembly method and dismantling method in which the lubricating agent for mounting or releasing tire beads is utilized.
