摘要： The present invention provides a non-aqueous lubricant composition comprising a base stock and 5 at least 0.02 wt % of a friction reducing additive which comprises a block co-polymer of at least one block A which is an oligo- or polyester residue of a hydroxycarboxylic acid and at least one block B which is a residue of a polyalkylene glycol. The invention also provides the use of a block co-polymer of at least one block A which is an oligo- or polyester residue of a hydroxycarboxylic acid and at least one block B which is a residue of a polyalkylene glycol to reduce the kinetic co-efficient 10 of friction in a non-aqueous lubricant composition when compared to an equivalent lubricant composition comprising no block co-polymer.

摘要： The present application relates to metal cutting, and more particularly to a cutting fluid and a preparation method and an application thereof, especially the application in the processing of niobium-tungsten alloy (NB521). The preparation method of the cutting fluid is simple and requires low production cost. In the mechanical processing of niobium-tungsten alloy (NB521), the cutting fluid has good cooling performance, lubricity, load-bearing capacity, friction reduction and vibration absorption, and long service life. It also can effectively avoid built-up edges, thereby improving the service life of cutting tools and the processibility of materials. Therefore, products of good quality are produced to improve the yield, especially in the deep hole machining, and thus the cutting fluid of the present application is suitable for a wide range of applications.

The filtration control package may comprise a carboxylic acid and an ethoxylated alcohol compound. Alternatively, the filtration control package may comprise a polyethylene glycol. The carboxylic acid may have from 8 to 20 carbon atoms. The ethoxylated alcohol compound may have a general formula R—(OCH2CH2)X—OH, where R is a hydrocarbon having from 10 to 16 atoms and x is an integer from 6 to 9. The ethoxylated alcohol compound may have a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of from 8.0 to 16.0. The polyethylene glycol may have a mass average molar mass (Mw) of less than or equal to 1500 daltons.

The metal working fluid may also include a biocide, and may also include an amide that is formed by reacting the amine with a carboxylic acid.

摘要： In one embodiment, a retarded acid system comprises an aqueous acid and a retarding surfactant. The aqueous acid may comprise from 5 wt. % to 25 wt. % of a strong acid, that is, an acid having a Ka greater than or equal to 0.01. The aqueous acid may further comprise from 75 wt. % to 95 wt. % water. The retarding surfactant may have the general chemical formula R—(OC2H4)X—OH where R is a hydrocarbon having from 11 to 15 carbon atoms and x is an integer from 6 to 10. The retarding surfactant may have a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance from 8 to 16.
