R31 and R41 are the same or different from each other, and each is —OCH2CH2CH(R′)CH2CH2OR. R32, R33, R42, and R43 are the same or different from each other, and each is hydrogen or —OCH2CH2CH(R′)CH2CH2OR. R is a linear or branched CnH2n+1, 1≤n≤20, and R′ is methyl or ethyl.-

摘要: A grease composition including: a base oil; a thickener; a zinc sulfonate; a polysulfide; an overbased calcium sulfonate; and triphenyl phosphite, in which a proportion of the zinc sulfonate with respect to a total mass of the base oil and the thickener is 0.030 mass % to 0.045 mass % in terms of a zinc content, a proportion of the polysulfide with respect to the total mass of the base oil and the thickener is 0.16 mass % to 0.24 mass % in terms of a sulfur content, a proportion of the overbased calcium sulfonate with respect to the total mass of the base oil and the thickener is 0.010 mass % to 0.015 mass % in terms of a calcium content, and a proportion of the triphenyl phosphite with respect to the total mass of the base oil and the thickener is 0.24 mass % to 0.36 mass %.

A lubricant composition comprising at least one dicyclic liquid crystal compound represented by the following formula (1), at least one tricyclic liquid crystal compound represented by the following formula (2), and halogen ions, wherein the content of the halogen ions in the lubricant composition is 1 to 900 ppm.

摘要: A wellbore servicing fluid comprises an aqueous base fluid, one or more alkali metal or alkali earth metal salts, at least one visocisifier, and a filtration control package. The filtration control package may comprise a carboxylic acid and an ethoxylated alcohol compound. Alternatively, the filtration control package may comprise a polyethylene glycol. The carboxylic acid may have from 8 to 20 carbon atoms. The ethoxylated alcohol compound may have a general formula R—(OCH2CH2)X—OH, where R is a hydrocarbon having from 10 to 16 atoms and x is an integer from 6 to 9. The ethoxylated alcohol compound may have a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of from 8.0 to 16.0. The polyethylene glycol may have a mass average molar mass (Mw) of less than or equal to 1500 daltons.

摘要: Disclosed herein are processes for the preparation of compounds of formula (I) from one or more bio-derived reactants, and their use as base oils: (R1-A)b-(CHx)a(CHR2)m—(C(R4R5))n—(CHR3)o—(CHy)c-(A-R1′)d (I) wherein a and c are independently 0 or 1, b and d are independently 1 or 2, x and y are independently 1 or 2, dependent upon the values of a-d, m and o are independently 0 or 1, n is an integer of 0-6, and each A is independently an unsaturated furan ring, a partially saturated furan ring, a saturated furan ring, or —(CH2)4—. Also, R1, R1′, R2, R3, R4 and R5 are independently selected from the group consisting of H and alkyl groups having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, with a proviso that at least one of R2, R3, R4, and R5 is not hydrogen, and the total carbon content of the compound of formula (I) is in the range of 20-62.

摘要: In one embodiment, a retarded acid system comprises an aqueous acid and a retarding surfactant. The aqueous acid may comprise from 5 wt. % to 25 wt. % of a strong acid, that is, an acid having a Ka greater than or equal to 0.01. The aqueous acid may further comprise from 75 wt. % to 95 wt. % water. The retarding surfactant may have the general chemical formula R—(OC2H4)X—OH where R is a hydrocarbon having from 11 to 15 carbon atoms and x is an integer from 6 to 10. The retarding surfactant may have a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance from 8 to 16.
