Abstract: Disclosed is a hydraulic bushing and a rail vehicle. The hydraulic bushing comprises: a core shaft; a sleeve mounted on the core shaft, wherein a first rubber body is filled in a space formed between the core shaft and the sleeve, and a groove is provided on an outer surface of the sleeve; and an outer housing, which is mounted on the sleeve through press fit. Two liquid chambers for accommodating liquids are provided diametrically opposite to each other on the first rubber body, and the groove and the outer housing together define a flow channel, through which the two liquid chambers communicate with each other. Use of the hydraulic bushing on the rail vehicle not only can assure stable operation of the vehicle in a straight running state thereof, but also can reduce abrasion of a wheel and a rail in a curve running state.

Abstract: A fluid tank assembly is provided for use with a mobile machine. The fluid tank assembly may have a tank with a lower surface, an upper surface located opposite the lower surface, and at least one side surface joining the lower and upper surfaces. The tank may also have a first opening disposed within the upper surface at a first elevation, and a second opening disposed within the upper surface at a second elevation. The fluid tank assembly may further have a float valve interchangeably mountable within the first and second openings, and a plug interchangeably mountable within the first and second openings. The fluid tank assembly may also have a fill port mounted within one of the upper surface and the at least one side surface and fluidly connected to the float valve. Movement of the float valve may function to open and close the fill port.

Abstract: A system and method in a building or vehicle for an actuator operation in response to a sensor according to a control logic, the system comprising a router or a gateway communicating with a device associated with the sensor and a device associated with the actuator over in-building or in-vehicle networks, and an external Internet-connected control server associated with the control logic implementing a PID closed linear control loop and communicating with the router over external network for controlling the in-building or in-vehicle phenomenon. The sensor may be a microphone or a camera, and the system may include voice or image processing as part of the control logic. A redundancy is used by using multiple sensors or actuators, or by using multiple data paths over the building or vehicle internal or external communication. The networks may be wired or wireless, and may be BAN, PAN, LAN, WAN, or home networks.

Abstract: To provide a railroad car design that allows the car to travel at high speeds over current roadbeds at very low fuel costs per mile a special rail is formed. This rail has the form of a wave shaped on its top with the troughs and crests of the wave repeating themselves every several feet apart continuously down both tracks for the whole distance of the railroad. When a wheel of this multi-wheeled car comes over the crest of a wave it has encountered as it moves down this wave formed track, the wheel immediately begins supporting its computer calculated portion of the weight of the car on a cushion of air pressure forced into its supporting air cylinder at that moment and rolls down the face of the wave in its desired direction of travel. Upon reaching the bottom of the wave's trough and starting to roll up the up hill portion of the wave form, the wheel is pushed back up into its supporting air cylinder thus expelling the trapped air by the upgrade created as the track shade ascends back up out of its trough to form the next wave crest. To stop the car, the trapped air pressure in the extended air cylinder is not allowed to exit its cylinder as fast as it normally would as each wheel is retracting on the upgrade out of its wave's trough.
