摘要: A utility glove having a palm side including a three dimensional molded palm portion formed of an elastomeric material with a thumb portion and at least one finger portion and a back side of the glove comprising a fabric material, with the molded palm portion formed in a pre-curved configuration to create a concave shape. The molded palm has one or more of thickened areas for abrasion resistance, padded areas for comfort, flex grooves for improved movement, textured grip areas for improved grip and/or perforations for breathability. The molded palm portion may be formed of different elastomeric materials to take advantage of the different characteristics of the particular materials.A molded portion of the utility glove may be formed by placing a piece of fabric against a mold part formed in the shape of at least a portion of a hand, bringing a corresponding mold part having varying thicknesses into molding relation with the mold part in the shape of at least a portion of the hand and injecting an elastomeric material into the mold to form the molded portion.

摘要: A puncture indicating glove comprises a bilayer formed by an inner glove layer and an outer glove layer, the outer glove having an opacity in the range of 23-34%. The opacity of the over glove is controlled by the inclusion in the over glove of a fine particulate material, in particular selected from the group comprising titanium dioxide, silica, barite powder, barium sulphate, barium carbonate, calcium carbonate, gypsum, clay, talc, alumina white, basic magnesium carbonate, zinc oxide. The inner glove has a chroma range C* which is controlled to result in a glove that indicates optimally with transparent liquid and strongly coloured liquids such as blood. The inner glove has a chroma C* which is greater than 30, advantageously greater than 40, more preferably greater than 43, and in particular greater than 46.

摘要: Elastomeric articles, such as gloves are disclosed. The gloves include a primary matrix made from one or more elastomeric materials and a foam donning layer. In one embodiment, for instance, the donning layer can be formed from a polyurethane foam. The polyurethane foam can be created from the reaction product of a polyurethane prepolymer and a solution containing water. The resulting foam can be hydrophilic and can absorb moisture for preventing moisture from being trapped between the primary matrix and a user's skin.

摘要: The present invention provides a glove used for household chores such as cooking and washing or other types of work, in which short fibers are flocked on a substrate surface at a vertical or approximately same angle so that the glove is comfortable, highly flexible, easy to put on and remove, and has a pleasant texture. Extra fine short fibers of less than 0.10 dtex are adhered to the inner surface of a rubber or synthetic resin glove substrate. The length of the short fibers is in the range of 0.05 mm and 0.4 mm, and the average thickness of an adhesive layer is in the range of 0.005 mm and 0.05 mm.

摘要: A method produces gloves and boots having a liquid inner coating that does not interfere with the seams. Initially, a first plastic web, which could be plastic like polyethylene or plastic laminated with an outer surface such as a cloth, is treated by electroshock to make it receptive to lotion. The web then mergers with a paper backer and lotion is applied by a silk screen station within the glove or boot but not in the seam area. A second plastic web then mergers with the first plastic web and proceeds to a welding unit which produces seams in the form of the glove or boot but outside of the lotion area. Excess plastic webbing is then removed, the paper backer is cut to length, and the final product is formed.
