    摘要: An electronic component equipment rack utilizes vertically extending adjustable rails to support electronic components therein. The vertically extending rails are configured to allow a power distribution unit to be attached thereto. The dimensions of the vertically extending rails allow the power distribution unit to be disposed between the attached vertically extending rail and an associated adjacent opposed side of the rack. The vertically extending rails can be Z-shaped with front and rear flanges and a side panel extending therebetween. The power distribution unit can be attached to the rear flange and be adjacent the rear flange and the side panel. The power distribution unit can be flush with the front flange. The rack and the opening between opposing vertically extending rails can conform to the EIA3 10-D standard.

    摘要: A universal fleet electrical system includes a central power distribution panel, which includes a fuse panel and a lighting selector junction box, together with a universal wiring harness. A dash mounted console is provided for operator control of accessory devices. The console may include a keyed switch interconnected with a security power control relay for enabling a user to connect and disconnect power to the universal wiring harness. Power may be connected and disconnected to the universal wiring harness through the use of a master switch with a circuit breaker. The lighting selector junction box permits various lighting accessories to be connected to different light level circuits. The universal wiring harness may include a plurality of plug and play connectors to facilitate rapid attachment/removal of external accessories. A serial interface may interconnect the wiring harness with the fuse panel.

Signals from the probes from at least two locations may indicate particulate matter flowing within a fluid through the conveyance apparatus. The times between signals may be indicated the rate of movement of the particulate matter in the conveyance apparatus and also a flow rate and direction of the fluid. The sensing probe signals may be processed into control signals that may go to a flow control mechanism. An example application of the flow control mechanism may be for an exhaust gas recirculation system of an engine.

    摘要: A system and method to reduce the time to transfer files from one computer to another over a communications network, such as the Internet, by avoiding the synchronous timing limitations of current transfer methods. A file that is intended to be transferred from a transmitting computer to a receiving computer is partitioned into multiple synchronous block portions of the existing file, prior to transfer. Each block subportion of original file is compressed and queued for transmission to a target receiving computer. The compressed blocks are kept in a cue, encrypted, and transmitted asynchronously to a target receiving computer over a selected communications network. Upon receipt at the receiving computer of any of the transmitted blocks, blocks are decrypted, decompressed, and asynchronously reconstructed into the original file. Since the transmission of blocks to the receiving computer occurs asynchronously, as well as the transmission preparation steps, overall transmission times are improved.

The quality of engine oil can be determined utilizing an acoustic wave sensor to obtain viscosity and corrosivity data associated with the engine oil. The acoustic wave sensor is coated with a material that selectively reacts to at least one type of an acid in order to provide data indicative of the presence of the acids in the engine oil. The etch rate or the corrosivity of the engine oil can be determined based on the frequency data obtained as a result of the frequency measurement utilizing the acoustic wave sensor. The viscosity of the engine oil can additionally be obtained based on a measurement of phase and amplitude obtained from the data utilizing the acoustic wave sensor. The etch rate and the viscosity measurement provide data indicative of the quality of the engine oil.

The method includes measuring a total gas concentration, including a first gaseous component and a second gaseous component, in an atmosphere with a gas sensor. The pump controller and sense controller are then switched such that the pump controller is electrically coupled to the second cell and the sense controller is electrically coupled to the first cell. Then a first gaseous component concentration is measured.
