摘要: Provided are an oil condition determination system and an oil condition determination method that are capable of continuously determining the oil condition when oil is partially replaced or oil is added. An oil condition determination system includes a measurement unit and a determination unit. The measurement unit periodically measures a resistance value of oil. The determination unit periodically determines a condition of the oil based on the resistance value, stores a local maximum value of the resistance value, determines that the condition of the oil has changed when a difference between the local maximum value and the resistance value becomes greater than or equal to a first threshold value, and initializes the local maximum value and updates the first threshold value when the amount of change in the resistance value per unit time becomes greater than or equal to a second threshold value.

摘要: The present disclosure provides a system for detecting the contamination condition of lubricating grease of a mechanical component. The system comprises a radio frequency signal generator, a sensor, a switch assembly and a radio frequency signal analyzer. The radio frequency signal generator generates a radio frequency signal with a frequency higher than 1.0 GHz. The sensor contacts lubricating grease to be sensed in the mechanical component. The switch assembly switches between a first mode, in which a radio frequency signal is transmitted through a first transmission path, thereby providing a first feedback signal for the radio frequency signal analyzer, and a second mode in which the radio frequency signal is transmitted through a second transmission path, thereby providing a second feedback signal for the radio frequency signal analyzer. The radio frequency signal analyzer analyzes the first and second feedback signals to detect the contamination condition of lubricating grease.

摘要: A method of analyzing a lubricating oil may include: measuring a first concentration of components in a lubricating oil prior to introduction into a cylinder in a two-stroke engine using x-ray fluorescence, the components comprising: sulfur and total calcium; collecting a scrape-down lubricating oil that corresponds to the lubricating oil after having been passed through the cylinder during fuel combustion of a fuel comprising 0.5 wt % or less sulfur; measuring a second concentration of the components in the scrape-down lubricating oil using the x-ray fluorescence; and calculating an amount of acid neutralized during combustion based on the first and second concentration of the components. Based on said analysis a change to a property of the scrape-down lubricating oil and/or changing a feed rate of the lubricating oil into the cylinder based on the amount of acid neutralized may be implemented.

The storage device stores mapping data for defining mapping. The mapping includes, as input variables, a speed variable indicating a rotation speed of the rotator, and a pressure variable indicating a pressure of the oil, and includes, as an output variable, an air bubble variable related to air bubbles contained in the oil. The execution device executes an acquisition process for acquiring values of the input variables, and a calculation process for calculating a value of the output variable by inputting, to the mapping, the values of the input variables acquired through the acquisition process.
