Abstract: Disclosed is a double-layer oil film lubrication analysis method and system based on a floating bushing. The method includes: determining a roller motion track and a floating bushing motion track according to a roller displacement and a floating bushing displacement; determining, when the motion tracks are closed end to end, minimum values of inner-layer and outer-layer oil film thickness of the floating bushing according to an oil film thickness at each moment; and determining that an abnormality exists in double-layer oil film lubrication when either of the minimum values of the inner-layer and outer-layer oil film thickness of the floating bushing is less than a preset oil film thickness threshold value. According to the present disclosure, more accurate abnormality analysis of double-layer oil film lubrication can be realized.

Abstract: An oil level sensor cover according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may be mounted below an engine oil pan to protect an oil level sensor that measures an oil level. The oil level sensor cover may be formed with plates of predetermined sizes, including an upper surface and a lower surface opposite to the upper surface, wherein a plurality of seating portions and a plurality of hook are formed on the upper surface. An engine according to another embodiment of the present disclosure comprises the above-described oil level sensor cover according to an embodiment of the present disclosure, an engine oil fan, and an oil level sensor mounted below the engine oil fan to measure the oil level. The oil level sensor cover can be separated from or coupled to the oil level sensor without the use of a separate tool.

Abstract: A method of detecting degradation of a lubricant in a bearing of an electrical machine, including: a) obtaining a first outer bearing ring temperature, b) changing the speed of the electrical machine, c) obtaining a second outer bearing ring temperature when the speed has changed, d) determining a thermal response value of the outer bearing ring based on the first outer bearing ring temperature and the second outer bearing ring temperature, e) comparing the thermal response value with a reference thermal response value for the same speed change as in step b), and f) in case the thermal response value differs from the reference thermal response value, concluding that the performance of the lubricant has degraded.

Abstract: Provided is a diagnosis technique with high reliability when a state of lubricating oil of a rotary machine such as a wind power generator is diagnosed by a state monitoring sensor. A diagnosis system of lubricating oil includes a lubricating oil utilization device, a lubricating oil tank for storing lubricating oil to be supplied to the lubricating oil utilization device, and a sensor which measures characteristics of the lubricating oil. In this system, the state of the lubricating oil is diagnosed by using sensor data obtained after a time required for air bubbles in the lubricating oil generated at the time of use of the device disappear elapses since the lubricating oil utilization device is regularly or irregularly stopped.

A sample port assembly may be connected to the sight glass whereby samples of the machine fluid are accessible.

Abstract: A system and method for debris particle detection with adaptive learning are provided. The method includes receiving oil debris monitoring (ODM) sensor data from an oil debris monitor sensor and fleet data from a database, detecting a feature in the ODM sensor data, generating an anomaly detection signal based on detecting an anomaly by comparing the feature in the ODM sensor data to a limit defined by system information stored in the fleet data, selecting a maintenance action request based on the anomaly detection signal, and adjusting one or more of the feature, the anomaly, the limit, and the maintenance action request by applying an adaptive learning algorithm that uses the ODM sensor data, fleet data, and feedback from field maintenance of one or more engines that evolves over time.
