摘要: An air-fuel ratio control apparatus for an internal combustion engine is provided which includes an air-fuel ratio determining circuit which determines an air-fuel ratio of exhaust gases flowing upstream of a catalytic converter for controlling the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gases so as to agree with a target air-fuel ratio under feedback control, a sorbed substance amount determining circuit for determining the amount of substances sorbed in the catalytic converter, and a target air-fuel ratio determining circuit for determining said target air-fuel ratio so that the amount of substances determined by said sorbed substance amount determining means falls within a given range. The sorbed substance amount determining circuit determines the amount of substances sorbed in the catalytic converter based on the air-fuel ratio determined by said air-fuel ratio determining circuit using a catalytic converter model established using parameters indicating adsorption reaction of exhaust gas components entering the catalytic converter, oxidation-reducing reaction of the substances sorbed in the catalytic converter with the exhaust gas components, desorption reaction of the substances sorbed in the catalytic converter, and a non-reacted portion of the exhaust gas components.

摘要: A heating apparatus of a re-heat type for an air conditioning system for a vehicle provided with an internal combustion engine. The heating apparatus includes a flow control valve for controlling an amount of an engine hot water directed to a heat exchanger for heating. When the degree of the opening of the flow control valve is 2/8 or less and when the target degree of the opening of the flow control valve is 2/8 or more, a control of the degree of the opening of the flow control valve to the target opening plus a predetermined overshoot amount is initially executed, which is followed by a control to the target opening. When both of the initial and target opening is larger than 2/8 or the initial and target opening are identical, the overshoot control is not carried out, i.e., the degree of the opening of the flow control valve is directly controlled to the target value.

摘要: A rectifying unit is disposed axially adjacent to a rear cooling fan. The rectifying unit has a plus-pole heat dissipating fin and a minus-pole heat dissipating fin integrally connected by a terminal plate. The plus-pole heat dissipating fin has an elongation extending axially around the rear cooling fan to have direct cooling air from the fan. The minus-pole heat dissipating fin is fixed to the housing directly or via a heat conductive material to be electrically grounded. Slits are formed on the elongations of the plus-pole heat dissipating fin to have discharging cooling air therethrough. Further, elongations are formed on the both dissipating fins at their inner periphery proximate to an intake window of the housing. Thus, cooling capacity of the rectifying unit is enhanced.

摘要: To provide a vehicle power generating apparatus capable of transmitting plural kinds of control signals from an external control device to a generated voltage control unit provided in a generator for power generation control while curbing increases in the size of apparatus or wiring required and without degrading the noise reduction characteristics, a generated voltage control device is normally disposed integrally with a generator for maintaining the generated voltage at a predetermined target level. For transmission of a vehicle condition signal from an external control device to the generated voltage control device, the vehicle condition signal is converted into a binary pulse train signal before being transmitted. The generated voltage control device holds the binary pulse train signal received or a vehicle condition signal decoded from the binary pulse signal until the next reception. Thereby, complicated power generation control can be achieved with a small amount of communications.
