    摘要: A vehicle air conditioner includes a cooling heat exchanger arranged in a casing, a compressor control portion which controls a compressor such that a cooling temperature at the cooling heat exchanger approaches a target cooling temperature, and a dryness determination portion which determines whether an outer surface of the cooing heat exchanger is dry or not based on a humidity in the casing. A target temperature determination portion determines the target cooling temperature to be any one of target temperatures including a first target temperature that is lower than a dew-point temperature in the casing, when the dryness determination portion determines that the cooling heat exchanger is not dry. The target temperature determination portion determines the target cooling temperature to be any one of the target temperatures other than the first target temperature, when the dryness determination portion determines that the cooling heat exchanger is dry.

    摘要: A method for determining relative humidity in ambient air of a motor vehicle with an air-conditioning system is provided. That method includes determining, from measurement values of ambient air temperature and the air outlet temperature of an evaporator of the air-conditioning system, the ambient air humidity. Further, that method includes measuring the air outlet temperature of the evaporator at a time at which the compressor of the air-conditioning system was switched on and then has been switched off while the air-conditioning system remains in fan mode, and also after waiting until the evaporator contains no further liquid refrigerant of the air-conditioning system but is still damp.

    摘要: A vehicle air conditioning system includes a compressor configured to compress refrigerant, a condenser, an evaporator, a temperature sensor and a controller. The condenser receives the refrigerant from the compressor and the evaporator receives the refrigerant from the condenser. The temperature sensor is positioned proximate the evaporator to measure a temperature of air passing through the evaporator prior to entering a vehicle passenger compartment. The controller is operatively coupled to the compressor to cycle the compressor on and off based upon the temperature measured by the temperature sensor and correlation data stored in the controller that correlates temperatures at the evaporator to estimated moisture densities at the evaporator to maintain the moisture density of the air in the vehicle passenger compartment below a predetermined moisture density threshold.

    摘要: It is an object of the present invention to provide a vehicle air conditioner that can perform air conditioning operation in an inside air circulating mode while suppressing the mist on a windshield and prevent deterioration in an inside air quality. When exhaust gas concentration on the outside of a vehicle is high, an outside air lead-in mode is switched to an inside air circulating mode and window mist limit humidity at that point is calculated. When inside humidity is close to the window mist limit, a compressor is actuated, the air is blown out from a DEF blowout port into a cabin, or an air volume in a blower is increased to prevent the mist on the windshield and delay switching to the outside air lead-in mode as much as possible. Consequently, air conditioning operation in the inside air circulating mode is performed while the mist on the windshield is suppressed to prevent deterioration in the inside air quality.
