Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) and a base station may communicate in a wireless communications system. The UE may receive first control signaling indicating a first radio network temporary identifier (RNTI) and a first feedback process identifier, where the first RNTI indicates scheduling of a unicast downlink transmission. The UE may also receive second control signaling indicating a second RNTI and a second feedback process identifier, where the second RNTI indicates scheduling of a multicast downlink transmission. The UE may manage a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARM) process at the UE associated with the unicast downlink transmission and the multicast downlink transmission based on the first RNTI, the first feedback process identifier, the second RNTI, and the second feedback process identifier. The UE may also simultaneously process multicast downlink transmission and broadcast signaling.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, an indication of uplink grants for physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) messages, wherein the PUSCH messages include a first PUSCH message and a second PUSCH message that at least partially overlap in a time domain. The UE may transmit, to the base station, at least one of the first PUSCH message or the second PUSCH message based at least in part on one or more conditions for simultaneous PUSCH transmissions, wherein the one or more conditions are associated with at least one of: a resource alignment of the first PUSCH message and the second PUSCH message, or a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) alignment of the first PUSCH message and the second PUSCH message. Abstract: A phase tracking reference signal (PT-RS) may be transmitted to enable a receiver to correct phase noise in wireless communication. A UE scheduled for one PDSCH with DMRS ports in two or more DMRS CDM groups that are associated with two TCI states may be configured for PT-RS using two PT-RS ports. Therefore, rather than limiting PT-RS to a single port, the PT-RS may be transmitted to the UE using two PT-RS ports. The apparatus transmits a capability indication for more than one PT-RS port for receiving a downlink shared channel based on a first TCI and a second TCI. The apparatus receives a configuration for a maximum number of downlink PT-RS ports from a base station.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods, and devices for wireless communication that support improved beam reporting with reduced overhead for beam pairs that can both transmit and receive data. A user equipment (UE) may determine a one or more beam pairs available for wireless communication and may determine transmitting capabilities and receiving capabilities of the one or more beam pairs. The UE may determine, based on the transmitting capabilities and receiving capabilities, control information that identifies the one or more beam pairs. The control information may identify at least one of the one or more beam pairs as capable of both transmitting and receiving data. The UE may transmit the control information to a base station. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: In some access networks, group-based beam reporting configured for a UE may be based on heuristics and/or based on UE implementation, and therefore, may lack adequate information regarding joint channel properties for simultaneous transmission and reception on a channel configured with a base station. Configurations of UEs and base stations are described herein that support various feedback metrics for resource grouping in association with transmission and reception operation modes and/or channel states, such as MIMO schemes, SINRs, channel properties, and the like. Base stations may dynamically indicate metrics to be reported by UEs so that simultaneous transmission and reception may be sufficiently supported.

Abstract: Uplink control channel group and cross-carrier scheduling is disclosed for cooperative communications of a virtual UE. In an aspect, a UE reports a cooperative configuration with member UEs of a virtual UE and reports associations between a plurality of component carriers (CCs) allocated to a cell group and each member UE of the virtual UE. The UE may then receive an uplink control transmission configuration message dividing each member UE into an assigned uplink control transmission group and assign one or more component CCs into one or more CC sets, wherein each CC set is assigned to each uplink control transmission group. The UE may receive an uplink scheduling message from a serving base station, wherein the uplink scheduling message includes an uplink schedule for CCs within the CC set assigned to an uplink control transmission group associated with the UE. A user equipment (UE) may receive one or more control messages from a network entity scheduling a first and second physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) messages that overlap at least partially in the time domain. For example, the UE may receive a first control message indicating a set of first PUSCH messages associated with a first rank value and a first quantity of ports and a second control message indicating a second PUSCH message associated with a second rank value and a second quantity of ports. In cases that transmitting both the first and second PUSCH messages exceeds a threshold rank value or a threshold quantity of ports, the UE may refrain from transmitting one of the first or second PUSCH messages.
