Abstract: Example implementations include a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of wireless communication at a user equipment, including receiving on a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) during a first PDCCH monitoring occasion a first downlink control information (DCI) that schedules a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) for each of at least two component carriers, wherein the DCI includes a counter downlink assignment index (DAI) that indicates a number of scheduled PDSCHs up to a point that the first DCI was received and a total DAI indicating a number of scheduled PDSCHs across the at least two component carriers. The implementations further include transmitting a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) including a position for hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ)-Acknowledgement (ACK) bits corresponding to the PDSCH for each of the at least two component carriers. Also included is a corresponding a method, apparatus and computer-readable medium of wireless communication at a base station.

Abstract: A configuration to enable a UE to acknowledge receipt of group common DCI. The apparatus receives, from a base station, group common DCI. The group common DCI being for a set of UEs. The set of UEs including the UE. The apparatus determines whether the group common DCI includes at least one DAI. The apparatus transmits an ACK or a NACK in response of the determination of the group common DCI including the DAI. The apparatus communicates, with the base station, based on the group common DCI.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information that indicates a transmit precoding matrix indicator, that identifies a precoding matrix, and a set of demodulation reference signal (DMRS) antenna ports. A first association may be between a first set of antenna indices of the precoding matrix, that form a first transmission group, and a first code-division multiplexing (CDM) group of the set of DMRS antenna ports, and a second association may be between a second set of antenna indices of the precoding matrix, that form a second transmission group, and a second CDM group of the set of DMRS antenna ports. The UE may transmit an uplink transmission according to the first association and the second association. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for beam identification for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) repetition. Upon beam failure detection, a user equipment (UE) may identify candidate beams for re-establishing communications. The UE can use a set of channel state information reference signal (RS) resource configuration or synchronization signal/physical broadcast channel block indexes to determine a set of candidate beams. The set may include a list of a pair of RSs or indexes for serving cells that have radio link qualities below a threshold. The UE may report the candidate beams to a base station (BS) via a Media Access Control (MAC) Control Element (MAC-CE) or a physical random-access channel (PRACH) transmission. The BS may provide a configuration signal a resource set that includes a pair of RSs or indexes for serving cells with radio link qualities below the threshold.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for transmitting a channel state information (CSI) report from a user equipment (UE). The CSI report may be a UE initiated CSI report or may be based on a downlink grant. The UE may determine to transmit the CSI report based on measurement using a physical downlink control channel (PDSCH) and/or a demodulation reference signal (DMRS). The UE may determine a reference resource for CSI feedback. The UE may calculate a channel quality indicator (CQI) based on the reference resource. The UE may transmit the CQI in the CSI report on an uplink resource.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless communications system may support techniques for random access response (RAR) enhancements for multiple random access channel (RACH) procedures. In some cases, a user equipment (UE) may receive multiple physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) orders triggering respective RACH procedures, each PDCCH order indicating a preamble identifier associated with the respective RACH procedure. In some cases, the preamble identifiers may be the same or different. The UE may transmit a random access preamble corresponding to a preamble identifier indicated in a PDCCH order and may receive a random access response associated with a respective RACH procedure based at least in part on an indication included in the random access response. In some cases, the indication may be associated with a preamble identifier indication. In some other cases, the indication may be associated with a timing advance group.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine whether an uplink communication that is scheduled to be transmitted by a plurality of physical uplink repetitions in multiple slots on a plurality of beams is subject to a maximum permissible exposure (MPE) condition. The UE may determine a transmission adjustment for the plurality of physical uplink repetitions on the plurality of beams, based at least in part on a determination that the uplink communication is subject to the MPE condition, and transmit the uplink communication based at least in part on the transmission adjustment.
