    Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may identify a maximum permissible exposure (MPE) event associated with a beam, determine that a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource for transmitting a scheduling request is unavailable based at least in part on the identification of the MPE event associated with the beam, and initiate, based at least in part on the determination that the PUCCH resource is unavailable, a physical random access channel (PRACH) procedure to transmit an uplink message. Numerous other aspects are provided.

    Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to inter-band carrier aggregation. A user equipment (UE), for example, may obtain a measured configured maximum UE output power (PUMAX) and prioritize aspects of UE transmissions that contribute to PUMAX. Prioritization may be based, for example, on band priority, channel priority, service priority, or any combination thereof. The power levels related to the prioritized features may be changed by changing a power management maximum power reduction (P-MPR) of each feature associated with the transmission according to the prioritized order of the features. The UE may determine if an electromagnetic power density exposure level of the UE is at or below a predetermined maximum permissible exposure (MPE) level. The UE may continue to reduce the transmitter output power if the electromagnetic power density exposure level is greater than the predetermined MPE level. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may be configured to transmit, to a base station, capability signaling indicating a quantity of sounding reference signal (SRS) ports supported by an antenna panel of a set of antenna panels at the UE. The UE may receive control signaling indicating an SRS configuration including multiple SRS sets, multiple SRS resource lists, or both, where the multiple SRS sets or multiple SRS resource lists are associated with respective quantities of supported SRS ports. The UE may then transmit, to the base station and based on the control signaling, a measurement report indicating a quantity of sounding SRS, and transmit an SRS to the base station in accordance with the SRS configuration and the indicated quantity of SRS ports.

A user equipment (UE) may receive a first control message indicating an uplink power control configuration for the UE. The uplink power control configuration may be associated with a power control identifier and a resource set identifier. The UE may receive a second control message that schedules an uplink message for the UE. The second control message may indicate the resource set identifier and the power control identifier for transmission of the uplink message. The UE may determine a transmit power for the uplink message based on a set of power control parameters, the set of power control parameters corresponding to the resource set identifier and the power control identifier. The UE may transmit the uplink message using a resource set associated with the resource set identifier and in accordance with the determined transmit power.

    Abstract: In a first aspect, a method of wireless communication includes receiving, by a user equipment (UE) from a first network entity, a multiple component carrier (CC) signaling message including multiple CC scheduling information. The method also includes receiving, by the UE from, a downlink control information transmission indicating a downlink control information indication for multiple CCs, and determining a first downlink control information parameter for a first CC and a second downlink control information parameter for a second CC based on the downlink control information indication and the multiple CC scheduling information. The method further includes receiving, from the first network entity, a first downlink transmission for the first CC based on the first downlink control information parameter, and receiving, from a second network entity, a second downlink transmission for the second CC based on the second downlink control information parameter. In other aspects, uplink transmissions may be sent.
