This invention relates to novel compositions of zeolites or microporous metallosilicates characterised by a continuous spatial distribution of the metal and silicon in the crystals and characterised by a crystal surface enriched in silicon relative to the internal part of the same crystals. This invention also relates to a synthesis method of producing these metallosilicates with spatial distribution of the constituting elements. These novel zeolitic compositions can be used in various hydrocarbon conversion reactions. The crystalline metallosilicates can be selected from the group consisting of aluminosilicates, gallosilicates, ferrosilicates, titanosilicates and borosilicates.

A novel synthetic crystalline molecular sieve designated as SSZ-109 is disclosed. SSZ-109 is synthesized using a structure directing agent comprising one or more of N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-N,N′-diisobutylhexane-1,6-diammonium cations, N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-N,N′-dineopentylhexane-1,6-diammonium cations, and N,N,N′,N′-tetramethyl-N-isobutyl-N′-neopentylhexane-1,6-diammonium cations.

The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of a zeolitic material comprising YO2 in its framework structure, wherein Y stands for a tetravalent element, wherein said process comprises the steps of: (1) providing a mixture comprising one or more sources for YO2, one or more fluoride containing compounds, and one or more structure directing agents; (2) crystallizing the mixture obtained in step (1) for obtaining a zeolitic material comprising YO2 in its framework structure; wherein the mixture provided in step (1) and crystallized in step (2) contains 35 wt.-% or less of H2O based on 100 wt.-% of YO2 contained in the mixture provided in step (1) and crystallized in step (2), as well as to a zeolitic material comprising YO2 in its framework structure obtainable and/or obtained according to said process, and to a zeolitic material per se comprising SiO2 in its framework structure, wherein in the 29Si MAS NMR spectrum of the as-synthesized zeolitic material the ratio of the total integration value of the peaks associated to Q3 signals to the total integration value of the peaks associated to Q4 signals is in the range of from 0:100 to 20:80, including the use of the aforementioned zeolitic materials.

The present invention relates to a composition including a β-type iron silicate, which includes all or part of iron in a β-type framework structure, and a solid acidic porous inorganic oxide. The present invention is characterized in that the β-type iron silicate is compounded with the porous inorganic oxide having solid acidic properties so that the solid acidic function derived from aluminum of the β-type iron silicate, is reinforced or complemented by the porous inorganic oxide, the individual particles of which are physically isolated from each other. It is preferred that the fluorine content relative to the dry weight of the β-type iron silicate is 400 ppm or less and the crystal particles of the β-type iron silicate have a truncated square bipyramidal morphology. According to the present invention, a composition that is useful as a high-performance catalyst, adsorbent, or the like, can be provided.
