Abstract: This disclosure relates to the use of 1-methyl-6,7-dihydro-5H-cyclopenta[b]pyridine-1-ium cation as structure directing agent (SDA) for the preparation of zeolites. This disclosure also relates to compositions of matter, designated as EMM-64 and EMM-65, obtainably by using this SDA, as well as a method of making the same and uses thereof. This disclosure further relates to a method of making an aluminosilicate molecular sieve of RTH framework type using said SDA, aluminosilicate molecular sieves of RTH framework type obtainable by said method, and uses thereof.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a molecular sieve, preparation thereof and acoustic absorption material and speaker containing the same. The molecular sieve having an MFI-structure, comprising a framework and an off-framework cation, wherein the framework comprises SiO2 and a metal oxide MxOy with M comprising boron, gallium or aluminium; the off-framework cation is at least one of hydrogen ion, alkali metal ion and alkaline earth metal ion. The molecular herein can effectively prevent the failure of the molecular sieve and improve the performance stability of the speaker.

Abstract: Described are compositions and catalytic articles comprising both a first molecular sieve promoted with copper and a second molecular sieve promoted with iron, the first and second molecular sieves having a d6r unit and the first molecular sieves having cubic shaped crystals with an average crystal size of about 0.5 to about 2 microns. The weight ratio of the copper-promoted molecular sieve to the iron-promoted molecular sieve can be about 1:1 to about 4:1. The catalytic articles are useful in methods and systems to catalyze the reduction of nitrogen oxides in the presence of a reductant.

Abstract: A process for preparing a tin-containing zeolitic material having framework type BEA, comprising providing an aqueous synthesis mixture comprising a boron source, a silicon source, and a BEA structure directing agent; subjecting the synthesis mixture provided in to hydrothermal pre-crystallization conditions; adding the tin source to the obtained mixture; subjecting the obtained aqueous synthesis mixture to hydrothermal crystallization conditions, obtaining a tin-containing zeolitic material having framework type BEA comprised in its mother liquor.

Abstract: A new crystalline aluminosilicate zeolite comprising a MTT framework has been synthesized that has been designated UZM-55. This zeolite is represented by the empirical formula: M+mRrAl1-xExSiyOz where M represents a metal or metals selected from zinc or Group 1 (IUPAC 1), Group 2 (IUPAC 2), Group 3 (IUPAC 3) or the lanthanide series of the periodic table including sodium, potassium or a combination of sodium and potassium cations, R is an organic structure directing agent or agents derived from reactants R1 and R2 such as where R1 is diisopropanolamine and R2 is a chelating diamine, and E is an element selected from the group consisting of gallium, iron, boron and mixtures thereof. Catalysts made from UZM-55 have utility in various hydrocarbon conversion reactions.

Abstract: A continuous process for the preparation of propylene oxide, comprising (i) providing a liquid feed stream comprising propene, hydrogen peroxide, acetonitrile, water, optionally propane, and at least one dissolved potassium salt; (ii) passing the feed stream provided in (i) into an epoxidation reactor comprising a catalyst comprising a titanium zeolite of structure type MWW, and subjecting the feed stream to epoxidation reaction conditions in the epoxidation reactor, obtaining a reaction mixture comprising propylene oxide, acetonitrile, water, the at least one potassium salt, optionally propene, and optionally pane; (iii) removing an effluent stream from the epoxidation reactor, the effluent stream comprising propylene oxide, acetonitrile, water, at least a portion of the at least one potassium salt, optionally propene, and optionally propane.
