Abstract: This disclosure provides a light source assembly and a display device, and the light source assembly includes: a first substrate and a second substrate arranged opposite to each other; a waveguide layer arranged between the first substrate and the second substrate; and a side-incident collimated light source arranged on a side of the waveguide layer, wherein the refractive index of the waveguide layer is higher than the refractive index of the first substrate, and the refractive index of the second substrate respectively; and light of the side-incident collimated light source is incident onto the side of the waveguide layer at a preset angle, and the incident light is totally reflected at the interference between the first substrate and the waveguide layer. In the embodiments of this disclosure, the light of the side-incident collimated light source is reflected totally at the interface between the waveguide layer and the first substrate under the principle of total reflection, and refracted at the interface between the waveguide layer and the second substrate, that is, the light is radiated from the surface of the second substrate, thus improving the efficiency of the light exiting from the single side of the light source assembly.

The plurality of light-emitting sub-circuits are all electrically connected to the output terminal; and the compensation driving circuit is configured to receive a light-emitting data signal, compensate for a threshold voltage of the driving transistor, and drive any one of the plurality of light-emitting sub-circuits to emit light according to an output signal output by the output terminal.

Abstract: A method and device for detecting uniformity of a dark state image of a display is disclosed. After an acquired dark state image of a display panel is divided into a plurality of areas according to a preset rule, RGB values of each area are determined and converted into XYZ values. The L* and C* values in the CIE-LCH standard are calculated and statistical analysis is performed to the L* and C* values of the areas in the dark state image to determine statistical parameters of the display image. A dark state uniformity coefficient of the dark state image is determined based on the determined statistical parameters, and the uniformity of the dark state image of the display panel is determined through the dark state uniformity coefficient.

Abstract: An optical fingerprint recognition device and a display device are disclosed. The optical fingerprint recognition device includes: a light source; a light guide plate including two light guide surfaces parallel to each other; a first volume grating, a second volume grating, respectively provided on one of the two light guide surface; and a light detector. The light detector is provided at a side of the light guide plate away from the second volume grating and configured to detect intensity distribution of the light exported by the second volume grating. The first volume grating is configured to import light emitted by the light source into the light guide plate. The light guide plate is configured to perform total reflection to the light imported into the light guide plate. The second volume grating is configured to export light propagated in the light guide plate.

Abstract: A display panel and a display device are provided. The display panel includes: a lower substrate and an upper substrate cell-assembled together; a light-emitting control layer disposed between the lower substrate and the upper substrate; and a plurality of pixel units defined by a plurality of data lines and gate lines intersected with each other. Each pixel unit includes a plurality of subpixel areas. One or more side surfaces of the lower substrate are configured to receive incidence of the collimated light. The light-emitting control layer is configured to control the light-emitting directions and the light-emitting colors of the subpixel areas, to allow the light-emitting directions of the subpixel areas toward the central portion of the display panel. The light-emitting control layer is also configured to control the display grayscale of the subpixel areas.

Abstract: A fingerprint identification device, a touch display panel and a method for controlling fingerprint identification are provided in embodiments of the disclosure. The fingerprint identification device includes: a photoelectric sensor; and an optical waveguide, arranged on a touch substrate at another side, and configured to be in touch with a fingerprint, and comprising waveguide material portions and medium material portions, each of the waveguide material portions and each of the medium material portions being spaced apart from each other; and a light irradiating into the waveguide material portions is delivered to the surface(s) of the waveguide material portions facing away from the touch substrate after total reflections at interfaces between the medium material portions and the waveguide material portions. If a portion of valleys of the fingerprint gets in touch with the surface(s), since the portion of valleys is filled with air, then the light returns by total reflection so as to be identified by the photoelectric sensor; if a portion of ridges of the fingerprint gets in touch with the surface(s), the light at the portion of ridges is reflected by diffuse reflection so as not to be reflected back for identification by the photoelectric sensor. The fingerprint identification in embodiments of the disclosure is adapted to various display devices.
