    摘要: An electrical connection system includes a mounting stud having a base configured for mounting to a conductive surface. One or more one ring-shaped lugs, formed of an electrically conductive material, are configured for being positioned on the mounting stud for surrounding the mounting stud. The ring-shaped lug includes one or a plurality of interior channels extending around the inside diameter thereof. A contact spring is seated within a respective interior channel and is electrically conductive and dimensioned to extend radially inwardly from the channel and contact the mounting stud when the ring-shaped lug is positioned thereon. The contact spring is configured to at least partially collapse in the radial direction and to provide a spring bias against the mounting stud for providing an electrical connection between the ring-shaped lug and mounting stud. A locking cap is positioned on the mounting stud over the at least one ring-shaped lug for locking with the mounting stud and securing the ring-shaped lugs on the mounting stud for a secure electrical connection.

    摘要: A method of making an electrical connection is here proposed. The method includes the steps of joining a first contact member to a second contact member in a material-to-material contact. The method steps for the same include:

    providing the first contact part, which towards the second contact part has a male, first joining section as a solid component with an at least substantially rotationally symmetrical profile,
    providing the second contact part having towards the first contact part a female second joining portion with a hollow profile,
    inserting the first joining section into the second joining section, applying a friction welding tool (400) to or in an opening of the second joining section (121), and
    moving the friction welding tool relative to the first contact part and/or the second contact part to generate welding energy for at least partially plasticizing a part of the first joining portion and/or second joining portion facing the other contact part.

The cable terminal comprises an end piece. The cable terminal protector comprises a housing and a suspension unit located within the housing. The suspension unit comprises a holding element for holding the end piece and an arm connecting the holding element to the housing. The holding element is displaceable relative to the housing from a first position to a second position, wherein, in the first position, a major portion of a second surface of the end piece is covered by the holding element, and in the second position, the end piece is outside the holding element. The disclosure also relates to a kit comprising the cable terminal protection arrangement and a fastening element, and to a method of attaching the cable terminal protection arrangement to an object.
